Director and executive producer Michael Bay confirms Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will replace Megan Fox in the third installment of the Transformers series. Bay’s camp officially welcomed the Victoria’s Secret super model to the franchise with an announcement on the director’s personal website. Victoria’s Secret went so far as to release a video congratulating their angel on her new role. Naturally, the British bombshell will play opposite Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky’s new love interest. Production for Transformers 3 has already begun, with filming taking place in the Los Angeles area. No word yet on when Huntington-Whitely will be called to set.
