Tom Hardy Talks Mad Max: Fury Road
http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! Welcome back to Clevver Movies, I’m your Host Chelsea Cannell! He’s not really supposed to be talking about it yet, but at a Recent press Junket for Inception, Tom hardy let reporters in on a bit of the Mad Max Mania! According to Hardy, it is not a question of IF the film will shoot, but more a question of when. The Location will contain the geographic non-specifity of the original and will probably take about 9 or so months to film with a few months allocated for stunt-training! Hardy flew out to Australia this weekend and is scheduled to train for several months, 7 days a week and has already lost 30 pounds for the role. He is striving for what he describes as a Hungry Wolf Look. Basically, in his words, the same look you would get if you took a cat grabbed it by the throat and stuffed it under running water. You get the picture! As for the Story, Hardy says it will be a nice “re-take on the entire world of the original, using the same character, depositing him in the same world, and then just bringing him up to date by 30 years. It’s a role he is honored to play, although one he still feels Mel Gibson could still do famously. As for Tom, it’s a dream come true, Mad Max debuted the very year the actor was born. The star also said we can look forward to a lot of big rigs, big explosions, big car crashes, big violence and a potential even bigger 3d upgrade. With all that and likely a whole lot more, it is definitely already on our radar! So is it on yours? Let us know in the comment section below! Thanks for watching Clevver Movies, See ya next time!
