Hey guys, Amanda Janner here for Clevver Movies with details from Entertainment Weekly’s exclusive interview with Alyson Hannigan. The How I Met Your Mother star told the mag that she and her original cast mates are getting along pretty well. She said she hadn’t seen many of her American Pie co-stars in years, but that at their first script reading “it was one of those things where the dynamic with everyone is as if no time has passed.” As for what will happen in American Reunion, the actress told Entertainment Weekly that characters Michelle and Jim — played by Jason Biggs — are still married, have a child and are navigating the waters of parenthood. The characters also revisit the past at their high school reunion. Hannigan says of the franchise “of course, there’s the raunchy humor but there’s also a lot of heart to it. And this fourth movie does not miss the boat on that at all.” Watch as Alyson Hannigan and Jason Biggs continue their relationship as Michelle and Jim when the film opens in 2012.
