Hey There, I’m Chelsea cannell here with a clever movies casting update on Superman. The cast is already rock-solid, Henry Kaa-ville will play superman, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane take on the Kents and Amy Adams will be lovely Lois. Can it get any better? Apparently it can. Gerneral Zod will be played by none other than Michael Shannon, who is best known for his work alongside Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet in Revolutionary Road and more recently as Agent Nelson VAN Alden in HBO’s boardwalk empire. Zod is the all important Super Villain, played by Terence Stamp in 78′s superman and 80′s Superman 2. The new super film is slated for a December 2012 release and looks to be heading in the right direction for a big box office payday. Are you guys happy with the way the film is moving forward? When a successful British ghostwriter, The Ghost, agrees to complete the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Adam Lang, his agent assures him it’s the opportunity of a lifetime. But the project seems doomed from the start–not least because his predecessor on the project, Lang’s long-term aide, died in an unfortunate accident. The Ghost flies out to work on the project, in the middle of winter, to an oceanfront house on an island off the U.S. Eastern seaboard. But the day after he arrives, a former British cabinet minister accuses Lang of authorizing the illegal seizure of suspected terrorists and handing them over for torture by the CIA — a war crime.
