Well, probably because this is the new title given to the 300 spin off, which was previously titled, “xerxes.” On the topic of updates, the film has also narrowed the focus of potential directors down to Noam Murro and Jaume Collet-Serra. You may remember that Zach Snyder WAS going to direct the flick, but then declined after being offered Man of Steel by Warners Brothers producer, Chris Nolan.
