I’m Chelsea Cannell with your “SCREAM 4″ update. Scream 4 is in full swing with rumors that both Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox have appeared on set this week to shoot a scene at a bistro and bookstore in Northville Michigan! In exclusive set photos, it seems that Neve’s character Sidney Prescott has written a book since the last film and the pics seem to allude that there may be a book signing. Fans are already speculating that Campbell’s character might finally be in for it this film, with the signing being the perfect yet perfectly unlikely place for the incident to occur. Director Wes craven had previously alluded to Campbells character penning a novel and now the photos reveal both the book’s title and cover image. The title suggests that Sidney may have become a self-empowerment advocate setting up some tension between her and Gale Weathers down the line. Gale of course is the author of the true crime thriller The Woodsboro Murders, which of course inspired The Stab Films! Other photos taken of street banners on set suggest that Woodsboro may be trying to recapture its previous wholesome image, which was ruined by the bloodbath that once took place. There are also hints of a Film festival, setting up potential plot lines and location opportunities for the 4th film. Lastly, the photos also show police vehicles and news vans in downtown Woodsboro… suggesting one of two things, heightened security to protect Prescott during an appearance or a crime that has already occurred. Grown Ups, starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider is a hilarious comedy about five men who were best friends when they were young kids and now are getting together for the Fourth of July weekend to meet each others’ families for the first time. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn’t mean growing up. The film also stars Salma Hayek, Maria Bello and Maya Rudolph.
