AS you guys know,Southpaw, the gritty boxing drama that stars rapper turned actor Eminem was put on hold due to no longer being distributed by dreeamworks, but its now BACK ON TRACK as Sony has picked up the project! The story of a left-handed boxer, written by Eminem and Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, will be directed by Antoine Fuqua who you may know from Training Day. The movie, tells the story of a welterweight boxer who, despite being left-handed, becomes a champion, but then tragedy strikes. He has to make a comeback in his life and in the ring. Written by Eminem, the story hits close to home with his own struggles and rise to the top Ems last big screen appearance was in 8 mile, which actually told a silimar story, but instead of a boxer, a rappers journey is documented.
