Katherine Heigl brings Stephanie Plum – the popular heroine of Janet Evanovich’s worldwide best-selling eigtheen-book mystery series – to vibrant life in Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment’s ONE FOR THE MONEY. A proud, born-and-bred Jersey girl, Stephanie Plum’s got plenty of attitude, even if she’s been out of work for the last six months and just lost her car to a debt collector. Desperate for some fast cash, Stephanie turns to her last resort: convincing her sleazy cousin to give her a job at his bail bonding company…as a recovery agent. True, she doesn’t even own a pair of handcuffs and her weapon of choice is pepper spray, but that doesn’t stop Stephanie from taking on Vinny’s biggest bail-jumper: former vice cop and murder suspect Joe Morelli – yup, the same sexy, irresistible Joe Morelli who seduced and dumped her back in high school. Nabbing Morelli would be satisfying payback – and a hefty payday – but as Stephanie learns the ins and outs of becoming a recovery agent from Ranger, a hunky colleague who’s the best in the business, she also realizes the case against Morelli isn’t airtight. Arnold Schwarzenegger Closes Deal For Next Movie ‘Cry Macho’

We’ve got the details on the new deal he just closed for his next film. Hey Movie Fans, Chelsea cannell here with a clevver movies update on Arnold’s plans to get back into showbiz! Deadline is reporting that Arnold’s next flick will be Cry Macho based on the book by the late Richard Nash which had also been adapted for the big screen by the writer/creator. Brad Furman is set to produce alongside Godfather and Million dollar Baby filmmaker Al Ruddy, who is 81 years old but still making movies! The action star will reportedly get around $12.5 million dollars to star in the film which is a far cry from the $25 Mill he made in his heyday, but it’s also a nice welcome back for the star who’s been out of the limelight since his foray into politics. The film will require some acting and doesn’t appear to be action heavy as the plot is about a Quote” horse breeder who won the Kentucky Derby but whose wife and child get killed.” He then becomes an alcoholic, slips into a depression, and is given an opportunity to rebuild his life by rescueing a rich guys son who is living with his ex-wife in mexico. Sounds a lot different than the terminator which Arnold is also moving forward with, while he is reportedly entertaining talks about reuniting with Danny Devito and Ivan Reitman for Twins 2. Hollywood Looking To Move Forward On Bin Laden Movies

Hey Everyone I’m Chelsea Cannell here in our Clevver Movies Headquarters coming to you with an update on several cooking Osama Bin Laden Movies. Kathryn Bigelow and her writing partner Mark Boal have had a flick in the works tentatively called “Kill Bin Laden.” The script was done, actors were auditioning and it seemed to be moving forward- that is until Bin Laden was actually killed! Now the Oscar wining director will have to decide whether to move forward with the project that focuses on a failed mission to assassinate Bin Laden or seek out a re-write to include the historic events that just took place. Joel Edgerton is said to be circling the project as one of the films leads. This news could also affect a project that went to paramount back in 06 when they optioned the book called jawbreaker that was written by Intelligence operative Gary Bernstein, who was involved in the 2001 hunt for the terrorist mastermind in the opening stages of the war in Afghanistan. That project could see a rapid green light to see emotionally tied success at the box office as people continue to rejoice at the news. These likely won’t be the only films on this subject matter to emerge in the coming weeks and years based on the new developments. Summit Entertainment Acquires Rights To ‘Ender’s Game’ Franchise

Hey There Chelsea Cannell here with your clevver movies update on Summit Entertainment’s plans for ender’s game. The book written by Orson Scott Card has been acquired by summit entertainment according to deadline Hollywood who is reporting the company is planning to launch a live action adaptation of the beloved novel. “X-Men Origins: Wolverine director Gavin Hood has already been tapped to helm the project that will likely look for new talent as the film focuses on a group of pre-teens. The story is about an alien attack and the gifted children the government recruits to try and safe earth. The book is cherished by many who read it back in their childhood- and with many film adaptations there is always a degree of concern it will not live up to the original- what do you guys think? Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger. The newest installment in the acclaimed franchise that ushered in a new wave of horror in the 1990s is written by series creator Kevin Williamson and directed by suspense master and director of the first trilogy, Wes Craven. The film stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox-Arquette, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Mary McDonnell, Marley Shelton, Nico Tortorella, Marielle Jaffe, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, Lucy Hale, Shanae Grimes, Aimee Teegarden and Brittany Robertson. Drew Barrymore To Direct ‘How To Be Single’

Hey there, I’m Chelsea Cannell, Thanks for tuning in to Clevver movies. Drew Barrymore first stepped behind the camera in 2009′s flick Whip It starring Ellen page. The film was a success, and Barrymore seems to have caught the directing bug. Now it seems Her Next project will be the film adaptation of the best-selling novel “How to be single.” Drew will not only direct but also produce the picture with her Flower Film partner Nancy Juvonen. Also jumping on board, Screenwriters Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein have been hired to adapt the book into a screenplay for New Line Cinema. Jude Law To Play Dracula In "The Last Voyage of Demeter"?

Hey Everyone, I’m Chelsea Cannell, Thanks for tuning in to Clevver Movies! Jude law is just the latest big name to be rumored in connection with the upcoming Vampire Adventure “Last Voyage of Demeter.” The film is based on a small part of Bram Stoker’s Original Dracula Novel and will reportedly focus on the Transfer of Dracula’s coffin from Translyvania to London. In the book, several passengers and crew members die while making the cross, and when the ship eventually turns up, Dracula is the only one who has survived. Both Noomi Rapace and Ben Kingsley have made their commitments, and Jude is apparently in negotiations to play one of the leads — no word yet though on whether or not he’ll be donning Dracula’s cape. David Slade of Twilight’s Eclipse has signed on to direct. So If Jude does sign on — Are you guys liking the idea of a Hollywood heartthrob as Dracula? And Do you think he will make a good Vampire? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Death Scene Changed (Spoiler…

Hey Everyone I’m Chelsea Cannell and your watching Clevver Movies! It’s kinda hard to believe, but this summer the most successful franchise in movie history will come to an end after 8 films,10 years and $6 billion dollars banked at the box office! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will finally deliver on the much anticipated showdown between Harry and the Evil Lord Voldemort. At least that’s what we’re hoping for. If you’ve read the final book in the series you know that many of the characters we have grown to love will be making a deadly exit in the final installment. But what may surprise you, is the news that one of those death scenes has JUST been changed, with the final approval coming from JK Rowling. The word is the death scene getting the re-write involves Professor Snape, who is played by Alan Rickman in the films. According to a recent interview with Art Director Andrew Ackland-Snow, the way Snape dies has been changed in the script from how he was off-ed in the book. In Rowling’s Novel, Snape dies on the shrieking shack but in the film they opted for his demise in a more dramatic atmosphere. Apparently they made a crystal house which will allow you to see what happens in the boat house, and that is where Snape will get taken out. From what we can derive from the interview, it appears that Snape will be getting quit the film-worthy death scene as opposed to what some feel was a more anti-climatic demise in the book.
