Hey There Movie Fans, I’m Chelsea Cannell here to break down james francos recent Letterman appearance where he finally talked about his low energy oscar appearance. Hosting the Oscars is an honor and one that Franco didn’t take lightly so naturally he was upset when people got upset with him for what some felt was one of the worst performances of his career. Granted he was hosting, and not acting but that doesn’t mean he didn’t want to WOW us. However, He told Letterman that after thinking about it, Maybe Anne was the problem? Adding that ANYONE would look stoned standing next to Hathaway even the TASMANIAN DEVIL. Hmm I’d like to see a stoned Taz. Anyway, he went on to lament the fact that people always say the Oscars are boring, dull and these least cared about award show but then when you don’t host it the way the audience wants you to, they then complain and suddenly care about a show they said they didn’t care about! That was confusing — but I so get you James. Well thankfully for him, it seems he has put that all behind him and has moved on getting back to his true love, acting, which he’ll be doing a lot of in his next project “Oz: the great and powerful!” After that he is reportedly toying with the idea of directing the film adaptation of Zeroville a book by Steve Erickson that was a big hit in 2007. Franco has optioned the rights to the novel and while there are no plans for him to star in the film just yet, there are lose plans for a 2012 start date.
