I’m Tatiana Carrier for Clevver Movies. . Now I am not trying to get your hopes up, but I have got the latest from Tim Burton. It is no surprise that Burton is a super busy guy with multiple projects going on, but it is one project in particular that would get moviegoers hearts pumping and that is a sequel to “Beetlejuice,” his horror-comedy classic from the ’80s. . Burton said in a recent interview with MTV QUOTE “I love that character, and Michael Keaton is so great in it, I always think about how great and fun that character was, so I just said to Dark Shadows screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith, ‘If you have some idea about it, go for it, and then I’ll look at it freshly.’ In the past, I tried some things, but that was way back when. He seemed really excited about it.” . Beetlejuice beetlejuice beetlejuice, you think that will make this appear? Anyway, let’s hope Seth knocks this one out of the park so we can bring back this classic. Although the sequel is probably a while away, at least there is buzz about it. Alright, Imma let you finish your youtube video, but I just wanna say one thing, Kanye West wants to make the Jetsons. . Man, that joke…still funny. Hey Movie Buffs Tatiana Carrier here for Clevver Movies, and just in case you haven’t heard, Kanye West wants to be apart of The “maybe one day released” Jetsons movie. Wednesday, West had mentioned through Twitter that he wants to become the “creative director” for the Jetsons movie. EVERYONE is talking about this, but let’s take ¬a look at some of the facts. . Starting with KANYE WEST IS NOT THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR for The Jetsons. IN fact according to Vulture, Denise DiNovi, the Jetsons producer had to chime in and mention that’s not even a real role in a movie. Yep, leave it to Kanye West to make up a job for himself. But most importantly DiNovi mentioned THAT THERE IS NO JETSONS MOVIE…at least not yet. . But surprisingly this isn’t some impulse idea that Kanye had. He’s actually been contacting Warner Brothers for the last two years showing a lot of interest in making this movie a reality. He’s genuinely passionate about this. WB finally set up a conference call between West and the producers. Now this meeting was strictly exploratory. By no means a hiring interview. But after this 10 minute phone call, they were impressed by Kanye’s passion and vision. He brought to the table a very “futureisticky future” compared to the retro designed future we remember from the cartoon series. But again, he was not hired and is not attached to the project as of right now. In fact, The Jetsons movie isn’t even off the ground yet. Right now, the producers are looking for a screenplay and they’ll work from there. And as for hiring a creative director, even if there was such a role on the film, that would be something the director would hire…And guess what, there isn’t a director yet either. There was some talk about Robert Rodriguez attached to the project, but his representatives have mentioned that he hasn’t been involved with the project for the last 2 years. . So what do you all think of this, I know most of you will be quick to shoot this down, but Kanye does have a unique style and creative process. In the Muppets, Jason Segal and Amy Adams play muppets fans who attempt to save the muppet theatre from a greedy oil tycoon…in order to do this, they have to reunite the muppets who have all gone their separate ways through time….the flick got 100% on rotten tomatoes, meaning, as I suspected, the flick was amazing….but just incase you need further convincing, lets see what the critics had to say! . Roger Moore from the Orlando Sentinel said, “The musical comedy whimsically and often cleverly revisits the characters, their shtick and and the TV show and movies that made them most famous.” . David Germain from Associated press was a fan of the muppet revival…he said, “The Muppets” marks a very welcome return for Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and the rest of Jim Henson’s creations after a 12-year big-screen absence. . And finally, Todd Mccarthy from the Hollywood reporter praises the timelessness of this classic, which he insists is a good watch for everyone….he said, “A mostly winning return for childhood favorites from a prior century looks to accomplish its goal of pleasing old fans and winning new ones.” . So there ya have it! The Muppets are back in action and even the critics agree, it’s a must see for everyone!
