‘The Hangover 3′ Eyeing 2013 Release

Hey guys thanks so much for watching clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier and Ive got an update from our favorite hungover boys. . Accoprding to the hollywood reporter, Its looking like hangover 3 is eyeing a memorial day 2013 release…and eyeing one more thing…more cash!!! Negotiating together, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are asking for $15 million each to reprise their roles, and they now are likely to get it. . May not seem like much considering how much the hangover flicks take in, but that is a hefty raise from 2009′s The Hangover, which was made for about $35 million and paid the headliners under $1 million each…however, in the end, it was the studio who made the big bucks bc that R-rated bachelor-party comedy unexpectedly grossed $467 million worldwide! . Naturally, negotiations were heated for The Hangover Part II, released last May, with the three principals each scoring around $5 million, according to a source, plus back-end compensation that raised their haul into the mid-teens (and counting) when the movie grossed $581 million worldwide. . So really, in retrospect 15 million is pennies to the studio who has cashed in on these three fellas, so we think its going to happen. I don’t know about you guys, but if I were zach galifinakus I would have asked for something more ridiculous…perhaps triple that pay, a lifetime supply of red sour patch kids and a rapping unicorn… bc we all know theres no hang over without good ol Alan. . ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Plot Revealed by Cast

FINALLY we get to start to get some details on the Amazing Spider-Man! . Hey movie buffs, Tatiana Carrier here for Clevver Movies and we’re finally getting to see the direction is going for The Amazing Spider-Man. Recently Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone spoke at a press conference in Tokyo after showing some new footage of the movie. And lucky for us, from the Q &A segment, we got our inside look at this highly anticipated movie . Obviously, this movie has Gwen Stacy in it and not Mary Jane, which most fans of the movie are more familiar with. Fans of the comics will know that Gwen Stacy was in fact, Peter’s first love and that is really being emphasized in this movie. Producer Avi Arad said this about their romance . “Gwen Stacy was always the true love of Peter Parker…We found a very, very good story about what makes a human being. About what sets their destiny” . Then there is Dr. Conners, who inevitably becomes The Lizard. Of course every hero needs a villain to go toe to toe with. But we find some deeper rooted conflict with Dr. Conners and Peter Parker, oh, AND Gwen Stacy as well. Dr. Conners is Gwen’s mentor, and now her boyfriend needs to kick his scaley but. BUT WAIT, Dr. Conners also has all the secrets on the mystery wrapped around Parker’s Parents and their disappearances. Spider-Man is definitely going to have his hands full on this one. . At the press conference they also talk about the fact that Peter Parker now has Spider DNA and how that affects him, and not just in the “Hey I’ve got super powers now” knida way. But how the DNA affects how he moves, and deals with obects and space. Of of course they brought up Parker and Stacey’s first kiss, and that it will be something special thats never done before. But will it REALLY be hotter than that upside down kiss? I don’t know… . . Now I kno this movie is getting overshadowed by The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, but I’m really excited to see this movie and the direction it goes in. I think it’s something that today’s audience will really enjoy and take in. But what do you think? Are you any more excited knowing these new details? New Hunger Games Sequel Gets a Writer

The Hunger Games SEQUEL nails down a writer! Hey guys thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana Carrier coming to you from our Hollywood headquarters with the low down on the hunger games! . The original isn’t even out until May but studio execs are already thinking about that sequel! According to The Wrap, the sequel has locked in Simon Beaufoy ( who you may know from “Slumdog Millionaire,” and “127 Hours”) to pen the script for Catching Fire, the sequel to the hunger games. . Gary Ross, who directed “Hunger Games,” will also direct the sequel and is supervising the writing of the script. . AS you guys already know, The films are based on Suzanne Collins’ bestselling young-adult novels about a nationally televised fight in which teens compete to the death. The Hunger games will release March 23rd and stars Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth who are all expected to return for “Catching Fire,” which will hit theaters Nov. 22, 2013. . And one more little nugget of info for all our hunger games fans out there, The Hunger Games advance tickets going on sale February 22 so don’t forget to mark those calenders!!! . Kiefer Sutherland Reveals ’24′ Movie Details

Hey guys thanks for checking back with clever movies, I’m your host taitana carrier with an update on 24 via keifer sutherland! . During the FOX panel at the Broadcasting Company Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena this past weekend, Sutherland revealed that the TV series-adapted film is ready to kick off production this spring and that the story will take place six months after the final episode! . He said, “The status on the movie is that, hopefully, we will be shooting the end of April, beginning of May…..I see it as a continuation. The script that we’ve got right now, which I’m very, very excited about, is relatively a direct continuation. It’s within six months from the end of the last episode. We’ll see where it goes from there.” . Regarding whether the “24″ movie will be planned as two-hour film or real time, Sutherland said, “It’s two hours, representing 24 hours. The movie is not in real time. It’s two-hour representation of a 24-hour day.” . Then he was Asked if the original cast members from the TV show are set to return, he answered, “I can’t say that.” . Now we know that Sutherland is committed to reprise his iconic role as Bauer, but the upcoming “24″ film still hasn’t locked in a director to tackle the helm. Back in December, it was said that producer Brian Grazer and FOX have eyed five filmmakers since Tony Scott was no longer attached to direct the film but still no confirmation! Robert Downey Jr. To Star In Tim Burton’s ‘Pinocchio’

Hey guys, thanks for watching clevver movies im your host Tatiana Carrier with the latest on the pinochhino movie, and our iron man who is now attached to the flick!!! . According to the Hollywood reporter, Tim Burton has his eye on ONE guy to be geppetto in his live action version of the classic tale of Pinocchio, and that guy is none other than Robert Downey Junior! . The Pinocchio story was first published in an Italian children’s book written by Carlo Collodi and has been adapted several times, including the 1940 animated Disney classic. For those of you NOT familiar, Geppetto, is the woodcarver who creates the puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy…the puppet: Pinocchio. . As of now neither Burton nor Downey has a deal with Warners, but sources say Burton is keen to direct the film and has begun talks with the studio, so it’s just a question of whether Pinocchio will be his next movie. He also is eyeing an adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children at Fox, among other projects. Warners wants to move quickly with Pinocchio, so if Burton chooses to make another movie first, the studio might move on to other directors. . Lets hope he gets to it, bc I cant place a better man to put this whimsical story on the big screen! ‘Star Trek 2′ Casting Update

Hey guys thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier and ive got a casting update from JJ Abrams star trek sequel! . According to Deadline, British film actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast in a lead role in the film. No word yet on whether he’ll be a hero or villain, but many in the industry are speculating that he will play the lead villain in the film. If this is true, rumors that the villain for the second installment of the reboot would be the infamous “Khan”, originally played by Ricardo Montalban in the original series and 1982′s Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, are most likely false, unless Abrams decides to take Khan in a much different direction this go round. Cumberbatch has gained recent attention playing the title role in the hit BBC series Sherlock and landed high-profile roles in Oscar potential films War Horse and Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy. He will next be seen, or at least heard, voicing the roles of Smaug the Dragon and The Necromancer in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit films. . Another actor to join the cast is Cumberbatch’s fellow Brit, Noel Clarke, who you may know best from his role as “Mickey Smith” in that other popular BBC series, Doctor Who. Clarke will reportedly play a family man, with a wife and daughter. Not much to go on from that description, but let’s hope he doesn’t end up being a crewmember with a red shirt. We all know what happens to those guys. . Clarke and cumberbatch joins fellow Brit Alice Eve and Peter Weller in the film’s cast, while Edgar Ramirez and Jordi Molla were, last we heard, fighting it out to replace Benicio Del Toro as the film’s villain, who may or may not be Khan. With the addition of Cumberbatch to the cast, we’ll have to wait and see if there’s still a role to be had. . Either way we will find out soon enough as shooting is set to begin later this month! Rock of Ages: What it’s all about

Looks like the Rock of Ages trailer has people dancing in their cubicles! It’s unfortunate, but people like to hate on musicals, but really, at the end of the day, everyone secretly loves them. And with such a star studded cast, I know Rock of Ages will find it’s way onto our favorite’s list. . For those of you not in the know, this movie is actually a big screen adaptation of the hit broadway show of the same name. The story takes us back to 1987 when Rock and Roll ruled the radio. It’s centered around two individuals who fall in love as they meet trying to make their Hollywood dreams come true and a popular club in which Alec Baldwin owns and Catherine Zeta Jones is trying to shut down! And who’s the main start bringing all the attention in? Well that’s Stacey Jax played by none other than Tom Cruise. And guess what, he really pulls off the rock star persona. . If the classic covers don’t bring in an audience, I’m sure all the familiar faces you see in the trailer alone will! Paul Giamotti and Mary J Blige make an appearance, along with Russel Brand who seems like he was made for this kind of role. . In the end it’s going to be a fun up beat musical with amazing music. ‘Just Cause’ Movie Moving Forward with New Writer

Hey guys, thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies im Tatiana carrier with the details behind guys who’s been tapped to pen Just Cause scorpion rising! . According to our friends at the Hollywood reporter, Bryan Edward Hill has been tapped to rewrite Just Cause: Scorpion Rising, the adaptation of the hit video game being produced by Adrian Askarieh and Eric Eisner. . For those who aren’t familiar, Just Cause hails from Square Enix, the home of the Tomb Raider and Hitman video games, and centers on a black ops agent codenamed the Scorpion who enters a guerilla war to overthrow a dictator. Just cause is a pretty successful brand….Just Cause 2 was released earlier this year and sold more than 3.5 million copies; a third game is now in development and The movie will focus on the origin of the Scorpion, aka Rico Rodriguez . Akira Synopsis Revealed

Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back into clever movies, im Tatiana carrier with the latest on AKIRA. We recently reported that Kristen stwerart was to star in Akira, and little detail was available on the plot, until now. Acting Auditions (via Bleeding Cool) has posted a possible early synopsis for the Akira movie at Warner Bros. that will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. .The synopsis reads: Kaneda is a bar owner in Neo-Manhattan who is stunned when his brother, Tetsuo, is abducted by government agents led by The Colonel. Desperate to get his brother back, Kaneda agrees to join with Ky Reed and her underground movement who are intent on revealing to the world what truly happened to New York City thirty years ago when it was destroyed. Kaneda believes their theories to be ludicrous but after finding his brother again, is shocked when he displays telekinetic powers. Ky believes Tetsuo is headed to release a young boy, Akira, who has taken control of Tetsuo’s mind. Kaneda clashes with The Colonel’s troops on his way to stop Tetsuo from releasing Akira but arrives too late. Akira soon emerges from his prison courtesy of Tetsuo as Kaneda races in to save his brother before Akira once again destroys Manhattan island, as he did thirty years ago. . The site also reveals that Garrett Hedlund will play Kaneda, Kristen Stewart is Ky, Ken Watanabe is The Colonel, and Helena Bonham Carter is Lady Miyako. . Ace Novack Cameo in Expendables 2

Ace Novak trades in the tennis courts for the big screen. Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back in to clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier with an update on one of the most talked about sequels, the expendables 2! . According to our friends at deadline, Its looking like the worlds number one tennis player, ACe Novak will be joining the all star packed cast of the expendables 2 for a little cameo role! Although this will be his first professional acting role debut, some say hes the greatest actor on the atp tour with his impersonations…like the one he did of fellow tennis player maria sharapova! . For those of you who don’t know, earlier this year, he filmed a parody of tennis player Maria Sharapova’s Head commercial, prompting the tennis equipment manufacturer to make a new commercial featuring both Novak AND Sharapova herself…so maybe acting IS his destiny? . Novak has already arrived in Bulgaria where the sequel is filming. The tennis champion will play himself in the movie after getting an invitation from producer Avi Lerner.
