I’m your host Tatiana carrier with a fun countdown at the best new years movie moments! I wonder if any of my picks make your list!, so lets get started! . 5. ‘Sunset Blvd:’ After Norma Desmond’s captive lover finds out that the party was not meant to include any other guests, he leaves her to spend New Year’s alone. A demented and suicidal Norma is later convinced to come downstairs by tricking her into believing she is back on set, leading her to utter that famous line, “Alright Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close-up.” This New Year’s Eve scene proves that you never know what the next year will bring. . 4. ‘The Godfather Part 2:’ Admidst the celebrations of the New Year, Michael delivers the ‘death kiss’ to his brother Fredo. Poor Fredo has nothing but death to look forward to in the coming year, making our coming year look pretty awesome in comparison. 3. ‘Trading Places:’ Near the end of this hilarious film, Dan Akroyd, Eddie Murphy, and Jamie Lee Curtis disguise themselves as guests of a New Year’s Eve costume party on a train. Eddie Murphy gets a lesson in the proper way to say ‘Merry New Year,’ and one dollar is exchanged by the two former enemy-turned-friends to ring in the new year. 2. Sex and the City Movie: Carrie and Miranda’s love lives fall apart unexpectedly. Luckily, Carrie makes it to Times Square just in time to be able to spend it with one of her best friends. This film proves that New Year’s Eve is all about spending it with loved ones, no matter who they are. 1. ‘When Harry Met Sally:’ After building a 13-year friendship, Harry finally proclaims his love to Sally on New Year’s Eve, and they seal the deal with a New Year’s kiss. Hey guys, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Your number one stop for movie news! Im your host Tatiana carrier with a very special thanksgiving inspired top 5 Tuesday! This week in honor of my favorite holiday, I thought we would countdown the top 5 thanksgiving flicks! . Coming in at #5 Is a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving….Though not technically a movie, it is available for sale or rent…so we count this one! Charlie Brown is preparing to go to his Grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving when Peppermint Patty invites herself and a bunch of other people over to Chuck’s house for turkey dinner. Since he didn’t have the time or knowledge to make a proper dinner, he enlists Snoopy and Woodstock to cater it. They decide popcorn, toast, and jellybeans are a good dinner. . In 4th place on our list is Winne The Pooh Seasons of Giving- Our favorite Winnie the Pooh characters learn to embrace the winter season and cherish the holidays that make this season so special. WE think you will love this one because this is a fun film for the entire family that teaches the true meaning of holiday festivities and the importance of spending quality time with family and friends. . Third place belongs to Home for The Holidays- This film is for anyone who’s ever dreaded spending Thanksgiving with their family. And as the Larsons’ family gathering demonstrates, Thanksgiving is for being grateful for all those folks you’d like to run away from most of the time. • 2nd place goes to The Ice Storm …In the weekend after Thanksgiving 1973, the lives of the Hoods are spiraling out of control. Benjamin Hood (Kevin Kline) drinks to try not to think about his trouble at the office. His wife, Elena (Joan Allen), is reading self help books and losing patience with her husband’s lies. Their son, Paul (Tobey Maguire), home for the holidays, escapes to the city to pursue an attractive rich girl from his prep school. Finally, young nymphomaniac Wendy (Christina Ricci) roams the neighborhood, innocently exploring liquor cabinets and lingerie drawers of her friends’ parents, looking for something new. Then an ice storm hits, the worst in a century. And of course, chaos ensues. . And the number on thanksgiving flick is….Planes trains and automobiles! Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)-All that Neal Page (Steve Martin) wants to do is to get home for Thanksgiving. His flight has been cancelled due to bad weather, so he decides on other means of transport. As well as bad luck, Neal is blessed with the presence of Del Griffith (John Candy), Shower Curtain Ring Salesman and all-around blabbermouth, who is never short of advice, conversation, bad jokes, or company. When Del decides that he is going the same direction as Neal, trouble happens at every turn. One of The funniest movies for everyone involved, including Martin, Candy, and director John Hughes. This movie is so timeless that it is great to watch all year long…not just on Thanksgiving. . So what did you think of our list? Did we leave anything out? Hey Guys thanks for coming back to ClevverMovies. I’m Tatiana Carrier and I’ve got some possible spoilers for the next installment of the Batman Saga. Cosmic Book News just released some new info on Joseph-Gordon Levitt’s Character, John Blake in the Dark Knight Rises. Now we’re warning you, if you want to be completely surprised, you can should stop watching now, I don’t want any angry comments below. But for the rest of you here’s what we found out. Previously it was thought that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be working with the League of Shadows, but this turns out to not be true. JGL’s character is now believed to be a new cop that is brought on to the force with the main purpose of catching Batman. They start to run into problems however when Bane starts to take over the city and scares the police force after sending Gordon to the Hospital, but Blake is said to be one of the integral officers fighting against him, so we’re expecting some classic Nolan intense action packed scenes! AS you guys already know, Since The Dark Knight Rises began shooting in New York City, we’ve gotten glimpses of Joseph Gordon-Levitt in his Gotham Police uniform, escorting Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne into Wayne Enterprises and he was even in a huge street battle scene with what appeared to be some of Bane’s men. When a mother and daughter are found brutally murdered in 19th century Baltimore, Detective Emmett Fields (Luke Evans) makes a startling discovery: the crime resembles a fictional murder described in gory detail in the local newspaper—part of a collection of stories penned by struggling writer and social pariah Edgar Allan Poe. But even as Poe is questioned by police, another grisly murder occurs, also inspired by a popular Poe story. Realizing a serial killer is on the loose using Poe’s writings as the backdrop for his bloody rampage, Fields enlists the author’s help in stopping the attacks. But when it appears someone close to Poe may become the murderer’s next victim, the stakes become even higher and the inventor of the detective story calls on his own powers of deduction to try to solve the case before it’s too late. Hey guys, Im Tatiana carrier for clevver movies and in honor of I don’t know how she does it which has just released, I thought we would do a countdown of the top 5 Sarah Jessica Parker Flicks! Coming in at #5 is Smart People- the dry comedy stars SJP and Denniss Quaid and is a lookm Into the life of a widowed professor who finds a new love. The movie is witty, heartwarming and well smart! In 4th place is “failure to launch”- this rom com follows A thirtysomething slacker played by matthew mconahaey who suspects his parents of setting him up with his dream girl so he’ll finally vacate their home…which is hilariously true. In 3rd is girls just wanna have fun… this iconic flick featured Parker as a higschool girl with strict parent who JUST WANTS TO DANCE!!! Janeys drema in life is to make it on dance tv and she stops at nothing to make that happen! In 2nd and at a close call for first is Footloose…as you guys know footloose is being remade, but parker was the co-starred in the original alongside kevin bacon in 1984. This film definitely put parker on the map as a true talent and is one of my all time favorite movies! And if 1st is….hmmm what do you guys think im gonna say??? Oh yes, Sex and the city. This iconic film brought the 6 seasons of the hugely successful hbo series all together and put a nice beautiful bow on one of my favorite stories of all time. I choose parker as kerri in sex in the city as my favorite role shes ever played because I think every girl has a lil kerri in them Now that ive shared my list, what about you? It takes a special breed to ride the fixie — super lightweight, single-gear bikes with no brakes and riders who are equal part skilled cyclists and suicidal nutcases who risk becoming a smear on the pavement every time they head into traffic. But a guy who’s used to putting his life on the line is about to get more than even he is used to when a routine delivery turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan. When Wilee picks up his last envelope of the day on a premium rush run, he discovers this package is different. This time, someone is actually trying to kill him.
