Hey guys, tatiana carrier here for clevver movies with a casting couch update from Chris Evans! . Its looking like Captain America and General Zod are set to share the same screen. According to our friends at Deadline, Chris Evans has replaced James Franco in the adaptation of The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer. . AS you guys know, James Franco had to step out due to scheduling conflicts and despite him leaving the flick, the cast is pretty solid! Man of Steel’s Michael Shannon plays Richard Kuklinski, the imposing mob hit-man who bragged of committing more than 100 gruesome murders, and Evans will play his mentor in the crime drama, based on Anthony Bruno’s 1993 book. . Production is set to begin in January, with Israeli director Ariel Vromen at the helm. . Do you guys think Chris Evans was a good choice to replace franco? Martin Scorsese to Direct ‘Snowman’

Hey Guys, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, im your host, tatiana carrier with the latest on director Martin Scorsase and his next big move! . The “Hugo” helmer will return to the crime thriller genre in bringing Norwegian author Jo Nesbo’s novel, The Snowman, to the big screen. . Scorsese had been circling the project for some time now but Nesbo had to give final approval for the director. He has done so, confirming to a Swedish newspaper that Scorsese will direct the first English-language adaptation of his work. . Snowman wont be the family friendly work like Hugo, and shift more towards the crime thriller genre, much like his Oscar winning, The Departed. . The novel features Norwegian detective Harry Hole, described as an anti-authoritarian, anti-sobriety cop, who investigates particularly gruesome killings. In Snowman, the seventh book in the Harry Hole franchise, a son finds his mother’s pink scarf wrapped around the neck of a ominous looking snowman. Hole realizes she is the latest victim of a serial killer. . Screenwriter Matthew Michael Carnahan from World War Z will pen the script to Snowman. Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will produce and no casting info has been released just yet, but we will be sure to keep you posted as we get more details! . Whats up guys, im Tatiana carrier with clevver movies and ive got the latest on Sin City 2 The sequel for the 2005 graphic novel adaptation sin city is officially in the works and director Robert Rodriquez is bringing in some solid pen skill to the table by way of William Monahan to supplement a draft completed recently bycreator, frank Miller. Accroding to the Hollywood reporter, William Monahan, who you probably know best from winning an Oscar for best adapted screenplay for 2006′s The Departed, has officially been hired to work on the script to ensure a solid sequel. The original Sin City, grossed a solid $100 million worldwide in 2005 and was codirected by Rodriguez and Miller…based off of their decision to involve Monahan in the seqweul, its clear they want sin city 2 to do as well if not better then the first. WE aren’t sure which characters will return to the sequel, but we think it’s a safe bet to count on seeing Jessica alba and mickey rourke on the big screen once again.
