Casting couch news from “wake the dead” coming up on clevver movies! Whats up guys, Im Tatiana Diana and Ive got the latest on “Wake the dead.” Jay Russell’s “wake the dead” has officially added its first actor to the cast roster, and that actor is none other than Haley Joel Osment. You may remember Osment from The 6th Sense who had the infamous “I see dead people” line. He also starred in A.I. and one of my favorite movies, Pay it Forward. The producers who helped make that casting decision, Michael Williams and Rob Eric, had this to say about Osments role, “This role allows him to break out of his shell and he will have no problem handling it.” Wake the Dead is based on the graphic novel series by Steve Niles, which puts a modern-day spin on the Frankenstein tale. Osment will portray Victor Franklin, a college student who is experimenting with procedures which could reverse death. This project is just the latest Frankenstein-themed movie in various stages of development. Other projects include Summit Entertainment’s “This Dark Endeavor”and Lakeshore Entertainment’s “I, Frankenstein.” Wake the Dead comes to theaters in 2012.
