Dr. Strange Movie or a S.H.I.E.L.D Movie
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies – Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! Dr Strange & Sheild battle it out! Hey guys thanks so much for watching clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana Carrier with the latest on the battle that ensues for that 2014 release date! . Marvel previously announced its upcoming release schedule that included 2013 releases for Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, but also included release dates in 2014 for two as of yet named films. It’s looking more and more like Captain America 2 will be sliding into the coveted Summer release slot of May 16th, but which film will take the April 4th, 2014 release date remains a mystery. Marvel has been so happy with the success of their A list superheroes on the big screen, it’s likely they will use that slot to launch a potential franchise of one of their lesser known heroes. One of those Marvel B list superhero could be Doctor Strange, which recently had its script completed by Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer who penned last year’s Conan the Barbarian. . For those of you not aware of the story line, Doctor Strange centres around a New York surgeon, who stops running his practice after suffering injuries in a car crash. He then becomes a drifter and heads to the Himalayas, where he meets a healer and discovers that he has a great psychic power to fight against evil. Doctor Strange boasts powers that includes telepathy, teleportation and energy and astral projection. . Another possibility to fill that April 4th date could be the much talked about ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ movie. This might be a more realistic possibility as it would potentially feature characters movie audiences are already familiar with, including Samuel Jackson’s “Nick Fury”, Scarlett Johansson’s “Black Widow” and Jeremy Renner’s “Hawkeye”. Neal McDonnough, who played “Dum Dum Dugan” in Captain America: The First Avenger recently spoke to IMDB Television about a possible Captain America sequel saying, “as soon as Thor has wrapped, they’ll do Cap 2. Hopefully right after that, we’ll jump into Nick Fury because that’s the one I’m looking forward to more than anything.” So not only does it look like a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie is possible, it may go into production early next year, easily giving it time to make that April 4th release date. . Of course, Marvel could completely change things up and go with one of their other properties, including standalone Black Widow or Hawkeye film or even Ant-Man, The Inhumans or Guardians of the Galaxy. So who do you guys think will win the 2014 release battle and which comic book hero would you rather see on the big screen? Im thinking Sheild, but lets see what you guys think so make sure you sound off below! Thanks so much for watching! We will catch you next time!

http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies – Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies I’m your host Tatiana carrier with your box office wrap up from this past weekend! So let’s see if any of the flicks you checked out made it in the top 5! . Coming in at number one was Underworld Awakening with 25.4 million for the weekend! Kate Beckinsale drew in the crowds and not to our surprise at all!!! Whether they were underworld fans or kate bekinsale in pleather fans, it doesn’t matter bc awakening came out on TOP! . Coming in second was George Lucas potential LAST blockbuster, Red Tails with 19.1 million throughout the weekend. The film did ok with the critics but pretty amazing at the box office considering it was up against 3 other new releases that were also just as good! . Coming in 3rd place is hold over contraband with 12.2 million dollars throughout the weekend. Mark Wahlbergs thriller drew in the action seekers and we think this flick should stay in the top five for atleast another week. . Coming in 4th was Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close — with $10.5 million. This drama centering aroundt he days to follow 9-11 did pretty well considering the lack of marketing for the flick and the competition. . And finally in 5th place is Haywire with 9 million dollars for the weekend. Haywire stars Michael fassbender and gina carano and is about A black ops super soldier who seeks payback after she is betrayed and set up during a mission. . SO which of these 5 did you check out this weekend? Let us know by commenting below and be sure to keep it locked right here on clevver movies, Your number one source for movie news! ‘Haywire’ Review Round-Up
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies – Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! The critics have spoken, and ive got the low down on haywire! Hey guys thanks for cheking back with us at clevver movies im your host Tatiana carrier with your review round up on Haywire! . Haywire is about A black ops super soldier seeks payback after she is betrayed and set up during a mission and stars Gina Carano, Ewan McGregor and Michael Fassbender. The film is expected to make around $8 — 10 million for the weekend, placing it in the middle of the top ten. With so many other male dominated fare such as Underworld Awakening, Red Tails and the Mark Wahlberg holdover Contraband hitting theaters this weekend, it will be hard to find an audience, but with a modest $23 million budget, it should end up a modest hit with strong word of mouth. . Anne Hornaday from the Washington post said, “Haywire” stays true to its low-rent B-movie principles, right down to the fast, strong and quietly competent heroine at its center.” . Roger Ebert was also a fan! He said, “Gina Carano is wonderfully athletic, which is just as well, because she spends most of the film being wonderful athletic.” . And finally Christy lamire from associated press said, “Haywire” feels like minor Soderbergh: zippy, hugely entertaining and well-crafted as always, but not one of his more important films in the broad scheme of things.” . Well its pretty clear the critics all agree, haywire is a GO! And im going to take their word for it, but what about you? Will you be checking out haywire this weekend? ‘Underworld Awakening’ Review Round-Up
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies – Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! Hey everyone thanks for checking back with clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with your review round up on kate beckinsales Underworld, Awakening. . When human forces discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, a war to eradicate both species commences. The vampire warrioress Selene leads the battle against humankind. This my friends, is underwold: awakening! Underworld: Awakening — the fourth outing in the Kate Beckinsale vampire-warewolf franchise — should win the weekend at the domestic box office with a gross in the low $20 million range, which ofcourse is helped out by the extra upcharge for 3D and IMAX..and lets face it, Kate looks hot in pleather. SO lets see what the critics had to say before you head to the theatres and see the flick for yourselves! . Frank Sheck from the Hollywood reporter said, “More aggressively violent and thankfully less mythology-driven than previous installments, Underworld: Awakening is strictly for the converted.” . Teddy Durgan from SCREEN IT said, “If you came for RealD 3-D throat ripping and gunshots to the head, you might leave somewhat satisfied. More likely, you’ll just want Ibuprofen and a refund.” . And finally to pour salt on the wound, Neil Smith from total film said, “With no Michael Sheen this time around and Charles Dance stepping in for an AWOL Bill Nighy, there’s a distinct sense of sloppy seconds to a film that’s humourless throughout and, thanks to murky 3D, visually dull to boot.” . So I think its safe to say underworld awakening, should have stayed…asleep (sorry danieL) But hey, that’s just what the critics think, but you guys tell us what you think once you’ve wasted your money! . Thanks for watching we will catch you later!
Hunger Games in 4 Movies & Too Much Ryan Reynolds? — It’s A Wrap
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies – Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! It’s Friday, so here’s a recap of all the news from the week brought to you by some pros in the field Tatiana hosts once again as we discuss, The Hunger Games and how an insider says it will be turned into four movies for the three books. Deadpool IS moving forward, but is it fair that Ryan Reynolds has already done a superhero movie? Then again, do we really want to remember Green Lantern? And finally, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo comes from a series of books, but should we get more movies from the series? Does David Fincher even want to make another? And of course we take a look at all the movies coming out this weekend who who’s going to see what. Looks Like Red Tails is the Hollywood underdog this time around. Will you see it?
Hancock 2 Still Being Planned
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies – Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! Looks like Will Smith maybe zipping up the tights for a second Hancock movie. Hey movie buffs, Tatiana Carrier here for Clevver Movies. Let’s take a step back to 2008. A GREAT year for superhero movies. We had heavy hitters like The incredible Hulk, Iron Man, and of course Batman The Dark Knight. But there was one underdog movie in there that turned out to be a hit. Of course I’m referring to Hancok starring Will Smith . Now this movie may not have been received well with the critics at the time, but the audiences enjoyed it. In it’s opening weekend it made 62 million dollars, and it’s lifetime gross was over 623 million world wide! Now those are numbers that Hollywood likes to base sequels off of. Director Peter Berg, the producers, and even Will Smith have been tossing some ideas back and forth. In fact, Smith is the one that came up with the main idea for the next movie. . The only reason this movie isn’t set in stone right now , is because it’s so hard to get all four of them in the same room at the same time. Maybe we’ll see some progress with Hancock 2 after Berg releases Battleship later this year. But do we really need a sequel? Now yes, it made a lot of money, but it had a good one shot storyWe saw a drunk hero pull himself up and rise to greatness and sobriety. That’s a story people can get behind. Not every movie needs a sequel. But who knows, maybe they’ll have another come from behind hit here. . So what do you guys think? Did you like the first Hancock, and do you want a sequel? Let us know in the comments below, and don’t forget to subscribe to stay up to date on all the biggest movie news. You can also hit us up by liking our fan page at facebook.com/clevvermovies.
