Abduction VIP Fan Event Info http://on.fb.me/oWwabd Hey everyone, thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies, Im Tatiana Carrier and Ive got the latest on ABDUCTION!!! Its looking like Lionsgate is putting together an event and its all about the fans!!! The studio and local theater partners will be offering Exclusive VIP Fan Premieres for the upcoming action-thriller Abduction, starring Taylor Lautner. On September 15th at 6pm PST / 9pm EST, Abduction will screen at VIP Fan Events in 20 cities across the United States where event attendees will be treated to a live stream of the Hollywood red carpet premiere on a big screen near them, followed by a sneak preview screening of the film before it hits theaters on September 23rd. Tickets for the VIP Fan Premieres will go on sale Monday, September 12th at 10am PST / 1 pm EST through the VIP Fan Premiere Facebook page. The cost for the event is $30, and includes a ticket to the streaming of the premiere from Hollywood followed by a screening of ABDUCTION before it comes out in theaters, plus a VIP Fan Pack including a Limited Edition VIP Locker Poster, Limited Edition VIP Lanyard, an ABDUCTION t-shirt and an ABDUCTION iPhone skin. And for those of you NOT familiar with Adbudction, the flick is an action thriller about a young man, played by taylor Lautner who is thrust into a deadly world of covert espionage and is directed by John Singleton. Hey everyone thanks for checking back with clevver movies, Im Tatiana Carrier and I have the latest on director Ron Howard! Ron Howard directed and produced both of Sony’s The Da Vinci Code and Angels and demons, and now we learn that Dan Brown’s book, The Lost Symbol which is to follow the events in the da vinci code will NOT be directed by Howard. An insider at Sony said, “he wanted to produce this one, not direct.”… apparently Howard was tired of telling the same story over and over with the same characters…so while the 3rd installment is happening, the director chair is empty! Tom Hanks will return as the Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon. No release date for “The Lost Symbol” just yet, but we will be sure to keep you posted as we get more details! What’s up guys, Im Tatiana Diana with Clevver Movies and Ive got the latest on Thor 2! Yes, you heard me correctly, Thor 2 is REALLY happening, so much so, that we even have a release date also! But first, the details! Marvel studios has officially committed to Thor 2 with Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as my hunky hero. Yea, I did just say MY… a girl can dream right? Chris is one of my favorite up and coming actors who took the world by storm this year with his breakthrough performance in the original Thor. Since then, Hemsworth has been asked to be in several movies including “Snow White and the Huntsman” and “Shadowrunner” so it comes as no surpise to me that Marvel is once again investing in the talented Australian actor. The pen for the script will be in the hands of Don Payne, one of the credited scribes on the first film. Payne rewrote Lobo for Warner Bros, and was one of the writers on Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer Director Kenneth Branagh won’t be returning to flick with no word yet on who will direct. Disney will release Thor 2 July 26, 2013 right before ‘Iron Man 3′ coming out May 3, 2013…both flicks coming out after the events of “the Avengers” which is currently in production and will hit theatres May 4th of 2012. Survival of the Dead arrives on VOD April 28th and in theaters May 28th. Survival of the Dead Cast: Alan Van Sprang, Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, Richard Fitzpatrick, Devon Bostick Immediately following the events of “Diary of the Dead,” “Survival of the Dead,” is the 6th film from George A. Romero to look at a world where humans are in the minority and the zombies rule. Off the coast of Delaware sits the cozy Plum Island where two families are locked in a struggle for power, as it has been for generations. The O’Flynn’s, headed by patriarch Patrick O’Flynn (Kenneth Welsh) approach the zombie plague with a shoot-to-kill attitude. The Muldoons, headed by Shamus Muldoon (Richard Fitzpatrick), feel that the zombies should be quarantined and kept ‘alive,’ in hopes that a solution will someday be found. The O’Flynn’s, who are clearly outnumbered, are forced to exile Patrick by boat to the mainland, where he meets up with a cynical band of soldiers, headed by Guardsman Sarge (Alan Van Sprang). They join forces and return to the island, to find that the zombie plague has fully gripped the divided community, and the body count is rising. As the battle between humans and zombies escalates, the master filmmaker continues to reinvent the modern horror genre with wicked humor and pointed social commentary.
