WEve got the real superbowl faceoff! Hey everyone thanks so much for tuning into clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with a recap on the trailers that hit the airwaves superbowl Sunday! . The Super Bowl may have been all about the battle between Giants and the Patriots, but to us at clevver movies, it was all about the battle of the trailers! Trailers for John Carter, The Avengers, Battleship and Act of Valor were several of the many movie clips that played during Super Bowl XLVI so we have to know, which was your fav?! . A teaser for the trailer for Joss Whedon’s The Avengers was one of the many that were released a few days before the game. The full trailer opens with the torn-up streets of the city, and Samuel Jackson’s Nick Fury’s voice-over saying, “The world has changed.” The trailer also shows the briefest glimpses of the mysterious alien villains that are rumored to be the focus of the film. . John Carter’s latest trailer also debuted during the Super Bowl after a trailer last week. It featured Led Zepplin’s “Kashmir” and, instead of just one image at a time, dozens of images for the film are embedded in the words “John Carter.” . Speaking of John Carter, Taylor Kitsch, who stars in the flick, was also featured in the trailer for Battleship. The new clip focuses heavily on the alien invasion in Peter Berg’s unique take on the popular childhood game. . A trailer for Act of Valor, which features real Navy SEALS, was emotional, and teased Relativity’s upcoming release of the film. . We also saw A trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator, which had been released earlier, also premiered, along with a trailer for Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. . ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Sneak Peeks/Trailer Info

Hey guys, thanks for tuning in to Clevver Movies, I’m Tatiana Carrier While the release of Marc Webb’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ isn’t for another six months, lucky fans in 13 cities around the world got to see a special sneak preview of the film. Fans who went to the film’s website TheUntoldStoryBegins.com were given tickets to the events, which happened Feb. 6. Fans in New York were joined by Andrew Garfield, Marc Webb in Los Angeles, Rhys Ifans in London, and Emma Stone in Rio De Janeiro, who all came together via satellite to answer fan questions and reveal a new 2 1/2 minute trailer for the film. Fans also gathered in Mexico City, Berlin, Rome, Paris, Moscow, Tokyo, Sydney and Seoul to see the preview, but as yet the details of what they saw have yet to be revealed. . Not to worry if you missed out, though, because the new trailer will be released online at midnight tonight and in theaters this coming weekend,. We’re hoping that the new trailer will give us a better look at Ifan’s villain, The Lizard, as well as some insight as to what ‘untold story’ the new film will feature. Now while this all sounds a little unfair to the rest of us, the word of mouth that this generates will probably be pretty huge. Christopher Nolan has employed similar methods in advertising his Batman franchise, which have become some of the biggest films of the decade, and from what we’ve seen so far, we’re expecting this new reboot of Spidey to be pretty huge as well. . Hey everyone thanks so much for checking back with clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana carrier with the latest on which person has inspired 2 scenes in the upcoming hunger games movie! Now, some of you die hards may consider this a spoiler, so if yu don’t want any hunger games deets, go watch anther one of our cool vids! . According to entertainment weekly, actor Donald Sutherland sent Ross a very passionate email about playing the insidious President Coriolanus Snow, the long-standing ruler of author Suzanne Collins’ futuristic world who forces children to fight to their deaths as a way of keeping the masses in line. . Gary Ross remembers the email by saying, “It was so eloquent and brilliant….that it actually inspired me to write two extra scenes for him that I think are pivotal in the movie and that Suzanne really loves.” . Ross was already shooting in Asheville, NC when he received the actor’s email. While on break he remembers wandering down to a clearing by the edge of a lake to ruminate over Sutherland’s ideas. Ross said, “So I sat down in this chair and stared at the lake and came up with these two scenes…and I realized that not only were the scenes vital but they actually fit a piece that was missing. That was a gift I got from the actor.” . And now for the spoiler… In this first installment of the film trilogy, Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen and Sutherland’s Snow really only have one scene together. But Ross says to prepare for a doozy. “It’s only when she’s crowned that they confront one another and it’s very electric.” The Hunger Games hits theaters on March 23. . ‘Lord of the Rings’ LEGO Toys Revealed

I’m Tatiana Carrier, coming to you from our hollywood headquarters with the latest on these must have toys! . Lego and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have revealed images of the new Lego toys based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Although it’s been quite sometime since the final installment of The Lord of the Rings trilogy hit theatres, it’s nice that the franchise is still selling new merchandise for those dedicated fans. Lego got the entire access to the trilogy characters and stories, as well as to Peter Jackson’s new adaptions of J.R.R Tolkien’s creations, ‘The Hobbit: A Unexpected Journey’ and ‘The Hobbit: There and Back Again’, to create the new line of Lego LOTR toys. The Lord of the Rings toys will be released in stores this June, while ‘The Hobbit’ line will be released sometime December. Lord of the Rings heroes such as Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf the Grey AND Gimili will be featured in the first LOTR Lego toy line. As for the second line, it includes the evil characters such as Orcs, Ringwraiths and the creepy Gollum. . Well, prepare to start recreating epic scenes from the film! Hey there movie buffs, Tatiana Carrier with Clevver Movies, and I’ve got your weekly Top Five Tuesday. This week we’ve decided to count down our favorite found-footage-style films, in honor of this week’s release of Chronicle, a found footage-style film about three high school students who gain incredible superpowers but are unable to keep them under control. So let’s take a look at the found-footage-style films that paved the way for Chronicle. . At number 5 is The Blair Witch Project: Three film students travel to the Maryland woods to find the urban legend Blair Witch, but none of them return. Number 4 is Troll Hunter: This film from Norway is about a group of students investigating a series of mysterious bear killings, but when they team with a hunter, they learn that he is actually a troll hunter. Coming in at number 3 is Paranormal Activity: After moving into a suburban home, a couple becomes increasingly disturbed by a nightly demonic presence. At number 2 is Cloverfield: A small group of people witness a monster attack in New York. And finally coming in at number 1 is [Rec]: A young tv reporter and her cameraman are covering a night at their local fire-station, which seems fine until the squad responds to a call from an old lady trapped in her home. . Andrew Garfield Talks Taking Over Spider-Man Role From Tobey Maguire

Hey everyone, thanks for watching clvver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with the details behind spidey campaign that went down and what the man behind the mask, Andrew Garfeild has to say about filling tobey mcguires shoes in the newest spidey series! Sony Pictures launched it’s viral campaign for July 3rd’s The Amazing Spider-Man over the weekend in several cities around the world by projecting the Spider-Man logo on buildings including the famous Arc de Triumph in Paris and the Opera House in Sydney. The projected image also revealed a web address to the site “TheUntoldStoryBegins.com”. Fans that were quick to log into the site were granted access to a special sneak peek of the film that will be held on February 6th. In addition to this viral campaign, we have the details behind what spidey star Andrew garfeild has to say about taking over the once tobey Maguire led spidey suit…regarding his peter parker character, he said, “I have tried to explore Peter Parker as an orphan. Orphans, I feel, are the strongest human beings on the planet. The amount of things they have to deal with in their lives, is amazing. I have tried to capture how Peter copes with the feelings of being an underdog, his confusions and his self-doubt . This, I hope, has brought, a certain empathy and sensitivity to his character that explains how it helps him become the hero that he eventually turns out to be.” When talking about taking over the role of Spider-Man from Tobey Maguire, Garfield explained how he watched the previous Sam Raimi films as a fan and what Maguire brought to the role was perfect. He knows his performance will undoubtedly be compared to that of Maguire’s, but feels his job is to remain true to the character as best as he can and he’s confident that’s exactly what he has done.
