Fans around the world were able to participate in a live Q+A with Joss Whedon, Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Samuel L Jackson and Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson) ANDDD Fans were able to see a 10-second teaser of the 30-second Super Bowl commercial and answer Avengers trivia to win Avengers prize packs. So here are some highlights from the chat! . • When asked about the much rumored Spider-Man cameo in ‘The Avengers’, director Joss Whedon responded, “There is no Spider-Man cameo. But the Avengers do turn off the dark.” Referencing the Spider-Man Broadway play that has had so many issues since its debut. • Another character that was rumored to possibly be making an appearance in the film that director Joss Whedon squashed was The Wasp. Eva Longoria and Olivia Munn were once rumored for the role, but when asked which character he wanted to include in the film, but was unable to for budget or time reasons, Whedon responded, “”I’m a fan of the Wasp. She’s goofy and sting-y.” • As for the story’s inspiration, director Whedon promises a combo platter from classic and Ultimate Avengers, plus “a little ‘Richie Rich’ & ‘Mastering the Art of French Cooking’” thrown in for good measure. • Samuel L. Jackson revealed that there will be no background on “Nick Fury” in this film, but alluded that we may get to see his origins in an upcoming ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ movie. • There will be a battle between Loki and Hulk in the film. Tom Hiddleston revealed that the scariest moment for him while filming was when he smashed his elbow while “facing down the great green incarnation of rage”. • Tom Hiddleston also promises Loki will be “More mischievous. More evil. More hubristic. More delusional. More damaged. More badass.” This time around. • Clark Gregg promised there will be more action in this film than previous Marvel movies. “Everybody sees more action in the avengers, hell, the audience even has to fight bad guys.” • Samuel L. Jackson named his favorite Avenger to be Black Widow and between Nick Fury and his Star Wars alter ego Mace Windu, the jedi wins. . AS if that wasn’t exciting enough, Clark Gregg promised there will be more action in this film than previous Marvel movies. He said, “Everybody sees more action in the avengers, hell, the audience even has to fight bad guys.” — end this with something like “tweeted, Gregg” . According to variety there is a potential new name on the all star cast roster for Quentin tarantino’s Django Unchained stating that he’ll have to sort out several scheduling issues to prevent him from participating, like premium rush which has been moved from a jan 13th release to august 24th. As you guys know Jaimie foxx, Leonardo dicaprio, sam l Jackson and christoph waltz are just afew of the a list names attached to the spaggeti western! Needless to say, if JGL joins the cast, the movie just gets better and better for us movie buffs! Django unchained is set to release Christmas day of next year and we all cant wait! What’s up guys, I’m Tatiana carrier and ive got the latest on blade runner! Thanks to deadline, we’ve just learned that Ridley Scott will be directing blade runner. Like “Prometheus,” its unclear whether or not “Blade Runner” will be a prequel, sequel or a reboot. But when the project was first announced, Alcon Entertainment’s Andrew Kosvoe made it clear that Scott’s “blessing to do what we’re doing is very important to Alcon.” Another question we have to ask is, will this even realistically happen? Scott is also working on Monopoly, brave new world, the wolf of wall street. Can a new “Blade Runner,” a massive undertaking all on its own, find room on his busy movie making schedule, or will it eventually be forgotten and perhaps land in the hands of a more available director? I guess we will just have to wait and see on that one, and you KNOW we will keep you posted as the story develops! Do you guys think Ridley Scott is a good choice to direct Bladerunner?
