DC To Release ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ Graphic Novels

Hey guys, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, im Tatiana carrier and Ive got the latst on the girl with the dragon tattoo! According to our friends over at the hollywood reporter, DC Entertainment is releasing graphic novels in print and digitally based on Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo will be released by the company’s Vertigo imprint in 2012, with sequel The Girl Who Played With Fire following in 2013 and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest in 2014. The announcement comes ahead of the the Frankfurt Book Fair and New York Comic-Con. Dan DiDio, co-publisher of DC Entertainment had this to say, “The intricate characters and stories Larsson created in the Millennium Trilogy are a perfect match for the graphic novel format, where we can bring Lisbeth Salander to life in entirely new, visually compelling ways It’s a distinct honor to work on a story that is already so popular with millions of readers around the world.” Steig brother Joakim Larsson also had some feedback on the big announcement he said,”Stieg always liked comics and it will be exciting to see the unforgettable characters he created come to life on the comics page,” says Stieg’s brother Joakim Larsson. So far, More than 17 million copies of the three books have been sold in the U.S. alone…so will you guys be picking up the copies for yourselves? We caught up with director Dan Scanlon at the Disney D23 Expo to talk about his new movie ‘Monsters University’, what audiences can expect from the movie and what the story is about, new monsters that we will get to see, the process that goes into making a Pixar film, the inspiration for the buildings in the movie, where they went to research for the film and where they plan to take the franchise next. Monsters University hits theaters on November 23rd, 2011. Cast: Billy Crystal, John Goodman Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”). Whats up guys, Im Tatiana carrier and Ive got the latest on the hunger games! Weve been ontop of showing you guys all the images released by the Hunger Games people, and while the releases have been sparce, we are happy to announce that the very first preview of the hunger games will infact premiere at the mtv vmas this weekend! Jennifer Lawrence who is the female lead, Katniss will introduce the clip that I know you guys cant wait to see! So If you aren’t familiar with the Hunger Games, it is a book adaptation flick that takes place in the US but the FUTURE. And in this future, the US has pretty much been destroyed into 12 districts. Once a year, there is a ritual called the Hunger Games where 24 young boys & girls are piutted against eachother in a battle to the death. The two leads, Katniss and Peeta are included in this ritual and we follow there struggles to stay alive through the games. The Hunger Games releases in theatres March of 2012 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Huterson. Are you guys excited about the hunger games preview?
