Hey guys thanks so much for tuning into clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier coming to you from our Hollywood headquarters with some pretty exciting news! . Weve just learned that despite some production delays, the highly-anticipated franchise sequel, The Wolverine, appears to be back on track and now has an official release date of July 26, 2013!!! The Wolverine will be directed by James Mangold and will follow up 2009′s X-Men Origins: Wolverine and finds Logan beginning a forbidden romance with a Japanese woman whose hand in marriage is, unfortunately, promised to another man. Since Logan won’t take “no” for an answer, it puts him into battle with her father and her samurai-sword-wielding brothers and Silver Samurai. . AS you guys already know, it was supposed to originally be released this year, but was delayed due to the Japan earthquake and nuclear reactor disaster and the departure of director Darren Aronofsky….but we knew eventually the wolverine would come to the big screen…

I’m your host Tatiana Carrier coming to your from our Hollywood headquarters! Well, if you weren’t already excited about the new Amazing Spider-Man, the Comic-Con Annual Magazine released some inserts from an interview with director Marc Webb, who dropped some details on some of the choices that were made when bringing his version of Spider-Man to the big screen. Webb was quick to point out that this reboot is not a simple remake of the Sam Raimi trilogy, and that may explain why the love interest and villains were changed. Webb also hints at what the December poster tagline “The Untold Story” really meant, but only by saying that not only does it feature new catalysts, but also that this will be an entirely different Peter Parker/Spider-Man. . When asked about whether or not this reboot of Spider-Man will be true to the original comic book character’s wise-cracking fun, Webb responded with “There’s a punk rock quality to Peter Parker that’s really irreverent and fun and that’s something that Andrew [Garfield] embodies in a way that we haven’t seen before. Certainly the materials that have come out have a darker sentiment or there’s a darker projection, but we’re very keen on staying loyal to the humor of Spider-Man.” . Webb also discussed the fact that he conceptualized the film as a 3-D film, since so much of Spider-Man’s actions really lend themselves to the 3-D format. “I thought if there’s ever a movie that should be in 3D, it’s Spider-Man for crying out loud. We shot this all in stereo so it was native 3D. Nothing has been converted. But those point-of-view sequences, those came very directly from a philosophy about putting the audience in Spider-Man’s shoes. We wanted them to feel what he feels, and that’s where those sequences came from.” . Well, while Webb didn’t drop as many hints to the storyline as we would’ve liked to see, these are still some great insights as to what to expect from the new Spider-Man franchise. Well, as we reported just a few months ago, Ridley Scott is in the works to made a sequel to his 1982 classic ‘Blade Runner,’ which starred Harrison Ford as a man burnt out on killing androids living illegally on Earth. However, the book on which it was based, Philip K. Dick’s ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’ basically ends where the film ends. So Scott will in fact be taking artistic licence with these characters. . When the sequel was confirmed, Scott said that it would move forward, ‘without the past cast, of course.’ Judging by your comments on that video, it seemed like most of you were glad that Ford would not be returning as Deckard in the sequel. . But then again, what would a sequel to Blade Runner really be without Deckard?? . Well, Twitchfilm.com has reported that Harrison Ford has actually entered early talks to join the new Blade Runner. Excited? Well, these are still the early stages of negotiation, so who knows if this will actually pan out. But the important part is, Ford and Scott are considering it! . Hey evyerone thanks so much for checking back with clevver movies, im Tatiana carrier with clevver movies with the latest on Insidious, the sequel. . Acording to the Hollywood reporter, original creative team, director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell, are in talks to return for the sequel to one of the scariest flicks of last year, Insiduous. Jason Blum will be back as producer. . For those of you who didn’t see the first movie, it starred Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne as a couple who at first think their house is haunted but come to the realization it’s one of their sons who is possessed. The first movie ended with Wilson being possessed after a journey to a realm of the dead…so perhaps we hang out with his scary ass for part duex? . Whatever the reason, we don’t blame them for making another insidious…The original was released in April and made almost $100 million worldwide on a budget of only $1.5 million. . As of now, it is unclear whether the sequel will continue the story or whether the lead actors will return. Mo-Cap Legend Andy Serkis wasn’t able to pull of an Oscar nom for his role in ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ but here at HollywoodStreams we wanted to be damned sure his performance was not forgotten. We scoured the film for every tasty acting morsel he melted on the screen with true primate physicality. Hats off to Mr. Serkis and I’m sure there will be a category for his talents in the near future. Until then we’ll wait for ‘The Hobbit’.

I’m Tatiana Carrier, coming to you from our hollywood headquarters with the latest on these must have toys! . Lego and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have revealed images of the new Lego toys based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Although it’s been quite sometime since the final installment of The Lord of the Rings trilogy hit theatres, it’s nice that the franchise is still selling new merchandise for those dedicated fans. Lego got the entire access to the trilogy characters and stories, as well as to Peter Jackson’s new adaptions of J.R.R Tolkien’s creations, ‘The Hobbit: A Unexpected Journey’ and ‘The Hobbit: There and Back Again’, to create the new line of Lego LOTR toys. The Lord of the Rings toys will be released in stores this June, while ‘The Hobbit’ line will be released sometime December. Lord of the Rings heroes such as Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf the Grey AND Gimili will be featured in the first LOTR Lego toy line. As for the second line, it includes the evil characters such as Orcs, Ringwraiths and the creepy Gollum. . Well, prepare to start recreating epic scenes from the film! Hey movie buffs, I’m Joshua Ovenshire. Straight from our friends at The Hollywood reporter, DC comics announced today that they will be going back to the 1986 graphic novel “The Watchmen” by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons for a new set of comics. We’ll be seeing a series stories featuring all the different characters in their own storylines is a series called “Before Watchmen”. That’s right. All of these different stories will be showing us the individual characters BEFORE The Watchmen events take place. Moore, as the original creator is actually completely against this idea. But DC backs up their decision saying that enough time has passed and this is a way to keep the characters relevant. . Alan Moore was also very much against the movie adaptation that was done in 2009. And speaking of which, with DC going back to The Watchmen, does this mean, that we may see a prequel to the movie as well? Granted that in 2009, watchmen opened well with $55.2 Million, it only made $181 million worldwide. Seeing that it cost 130 to make, with such a low profit, I see a prequel being very unlikely. But really, it comes down to how the fans react and if the series of comics actually does well. . As for me, I’ve been enjoying DC lately. But don’t they cover enough back story, in the original Watchmen already? Do we really need to go back? The Watchmen is the highest grossing graphic novel of all time and redefined the genre.
