Vin Diesel Confirms 2 ‘Fast and Furious’ Films

Hey guys, thanks for watching clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with the details on the next 2 fast films! . According to our pals at the Hollywood reporter, Vin Diesel, the star and a producer of Universal’s decade-long franchise, said that during the planning process of the new movie, the Fast and Furious creative team, which includes director Justin Lin and screenwriter Chris Morgan, realized that they would need a seventh movie to tell their story. The sixth and seventh are being written simultaneously! , Diesal told THR that quote, “With the success of this last one, and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space.” . So for those of you shaking your heads saying, why make another, you clearly have no clue how much this franchise rakes in….the franchise has brought in an incredible The franchise has made $1.58 billion dollars at the box office!!! . Deisal went on to explain the sequel sitch, he said, “We have to pay off this story, we have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages … You can’t fit all that story in one damn movie!’” . UNFORT, Diesel did not reveal details on whether the two movies would be two-parters or two standalone movies so we will just have to wait and see! Hey guys, I’m Tatiana carrier for clevver movies, and Ive got the details on Bond 007. . We’ve just learned that Daniel Craig as James Bond is likely to remain familiar to moviegoers for another five big screen outings and we are pretty stoked! According to the Hollywood reporter the film’s producer Michael G Wilson will start negotiations with James Bond actor Daniel Craig to star in 5 more bond flicks after shooting on current film “Skyfall” wraps.. . Wilson also hinted that director Sam Mendes and Craig are taking the movie’s feel back to the 1960s and the Sean Connery era of 007. And a fun little fact, Wilson, whose stepfather “Cubby” Broccoli started the franchise in 1962, has been a producer or executive producer for 13 Bond films. . I am sure all of you hunger games fans already know, but for those of you who DON’T, Today marks 100 days until the much-anticipated big-screen adaptation of “The Hunger Games” comes to theatres! . To celebrate, Hollywood Crush is partnering with Lionsgate for an internet scavenger scramble called #HungerGames100 Poster Puzzle Hunt! So Here’s how it works: 100 websites will each host one piece of a humungo “Hunger Games” puzzle which ends up depicting the newest one-sheet for the March 23 release. . So the way to find each piece is simple, all you have to do is search Twitter using the hashtag #HungerGames100 to find each piece, solve the puzzle and upload a photo of the finished product to Facebook, tagging The Official Hunger Games Movie page. After the first person posts the solved puzzle, the entire poster will be revealed. . The reviews are in for Sherlock holmes a game of shadows and weve got the details! Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier! Sherlock Holmes a game of shadows releases this week, so I thought we would see what the critics are saying before you guys head out to the theatres and see the flick yourselves! . Brian Lowry from Variety liked the detective flick! He said, “While director Guy Ritchie’s excesses and modern concessions — among them a lot of explosions — remain intact, the parts of this second Sherlock Holmes are considerably more rewarding.” . James Bernardinelli from relviews also was a fan, he said, “A Game of Shadows is a stronger, better realized movie that builds upon the strengths of the original and jettisons some of the weaknesses.” . But our pal from the hollywood reporter couldn’t disagree more…todd mcarthy said, “The wardrobe foolishness comes off fine thanks to Downey’s deadpan unashamedness, while the action stuff, perhaps arresting the first couple of times you see it, already seems hackneyed, mannered and overworked, an affectation of diminishing returns.” . Worst Movie Weekend of 2011 Weekend Box Office Wrap-Up

The worst weekend for the boxoffice of the year, so who came out on top? Hey guys, Tatiana carrier here for clevver movies with your weekend wrap up from the worst performing box office weekend of 2011! . Coming in first place was the ensemble rom com, new years eve with 13.7 million dollars…while the flick drew crowds because of the jam packed all-star cast…the film wasn’t a favorite amongst the critics…or the audiences who saw it…stating the film just wasn’t enough…the storylines weren’t developed enough and the mediocre plots seemed like a lack luster carbon copy of valentines day…regardless, the flick came in first this weekend. . In second was the Jonah hill comedy The Sitter with 10 million throughout the weekend. The flick followed sitter, Jonah hills character on an up all night 80s style mission with the 2 kids he was stuck sitting for. While Jonah is a funny dude, something felt missing from the flick..perhaps a sidekick to join him on his antics or a better story line..either way, the film did less than expected and wasn’t a huge hit with the critics. . Twilight breaking dawn part one is still holding strong in the box office with 7.9 throughout the weekend for a total cume of 259.6 million. We are thinking bella, Jacob and Edward will stay in the top 5 until we have those Christmas releases. . My favorite muppets come in 4th with 7.1 million for a cume of 65.8. WE are thinking the word of outh recommendations along with die hard muppets fans will keep these guys in the top five for atelast one more weekend . And finally, the topical flick, Arthur Christmas makes it to the 5th position with 6.6 million for a total cume of 33. 5. Because this is a Christmas film, we don’t think Arthur Christmas will be knocked off the top five despite being in the 5th position this weekend…the momentum will most likely build up as we get closer to the holiday! . The Amazing Spider-Man is currently undergoing reshoots in Los Angeles, quickly working towards a July 3, 2012 release date. Andrew Garfield aka peter parker, aka spidey, was spotted doing some wire work on the setand of course we had to give you guys a peak! . Judging by these photos, this is most likely garfeild shooting as parker as he is sans tights…but you never know right? . AS you super fans already know, The Amazing Spider-Man comes to theaters July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone (garfeilds real life gf *whistle sound please), Rhys Ifans, and Martin Sheen, The film is directed by Marc Webb. This will be webbs first go at the spidey series, and as all us spiderman fans know, competition is STIFF with Sam Raimi as the reigning spiderman champ…so the question here is, which series do you guys think will connect more with the fans? ‘The Sitter’ Movie Review Round-Up

Hey everyone thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies im Tatiana carrier your review roundup on the sitter. Now the sitter starring Jonah hill comes out TODAY, so before you shell out those movie bucks to see the flick in theatres, Lets see what the critics are saying! . Kyle Smith from the New York Post liked the comedy! He said, “It’s smart, funny, agreeably perverse and simultaneously abrupt and exhausting.” . However, I am sad to say that was the last nice review I found….John Dufore from the Hollywood reporter thinks that Jonah Hill kinda dropped the ball…here’s what he had to say ” Jonah Hill bites off more than he can chew in this ’80s up-all-night comedy.” . And finally, Peter Dubruge from the Hollywood reporter said, “This ostensibly wild-and-crazy romp plays things too close to the book to feel genuinely wild or crazy.” . SO the reviews point to, not so crazy about the flick, but I will say, this one was a toughie for Hill…he is usually surrounded by an ensemble cast or has at least a sidekick…its not easy carrying a comedy all by yourself, so kudos for the effort. ‘X-Men’, ‘Daredevil’ & ‘Fantastic Four’ Priority Projects

Xmen, Daredevil and Fantastic Four May be coming to us sooner than you think! Hey guys, thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies im taitana carrier with the latest on some of our favorite fox flicks! . You xmen first class fans have been wanting a follow up to the flick and good news, Fox exec Tom Rothman says that he wants it to happen: he recently spoke to mtv and said, “We’re trying like hell. We’re trying as hard as we can. We really want to do it. We’re planning to do it.” . MTV News chatted with Rothman at the indie film awards, and they spoke about the prospects continuing the xmen series and how its success has changed how the studio approaches superhero movies. Rothman said, “The reason, in addition to those two guys and Matthew Vaughn, that it was as good as it was that the script was really good…The key to making a great continuing franchise is to have a great script, so we’re working hard on it.” . Rothman also commented on a couple other Marvel properties coming back to the big screen! yep you guessed it, Daredevil” and “Fantastic Four.” In the case of “Daredevil,” director David Slade announced this week that the script for the reboot was finally finished AND Rothman confirmed before that the project is still with Slade and moving forward. . Rothman said, “‘Daredevil’ is still with David Slade…It’s in development now. We’re working on it and ‘Fantastic Four.’” He went on to say “I think for all of us, the bar has been raised, so we’ve got to aim high now. Marvel’s done a terrific job with their films. Where our Marvel movies are concerned or other movies like that…It’s like what we had with ‘Planet of the Apes’ this summer. I think it’s important for us to really aim high and deliver an A-level experience to the audience.” . The Dark Knight GOES VIRAL! Hey there caped crusaders! Tatiana carrier for clevver movies with the details behind the dark knight rises viral campaign! . Warner Bros. has kicked off its viral campaign for The Dark Knight with a fake CIA “bulletin” for a missing Russian scientist named “Leonid Pavel.” The mug shot appears to be actor Alon Aboutboul, although it isn’t known how this ties into The Dark Knight Rises story line. Another CIA “document” reveals a redacted transcript, which also relates to the “missing” Dr. Pavel. Heres a close up of the image! (zoom in and allow views to see while I continue to read). . Its been speculated that these docs are clues to, “a major cultural event,” which could be The Dark Knight Rises prologue attached to IMAX prints of Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol on December 16. .
