Hey Everyone I’m Chelsea Cannell here in our Clevver Movies Headquarters coming to you with an update on several cooking Osama Bin Laden Movies. Kathryn Bigelow and her writing partner Mark Boal have had a flick in the works tentatively called “Kill Bin Laden.” The script was done, actors were auditioning and it seemed to be moving forward- that is until Bin Laden was actually killed! Now the Oscar wining director will have to decide whether to move forward with the project that focuses on a failed mission to assassinate Bin Laden or seek out a re-write to include the historic events that just took place. Joel Edgerton is said to be circling the project as one of the films leads. This news could also affect a project that went to paramount back in 06 when they optioned the book called jawbreaker that was written by Intelligence operative Gary Bernstein, who was involved in the 2001 hunt for the terrorist mastermind in the opening stages of the war in Afghanistan. That project could see a rapid green light to see emotionally tied success at the box office as people continue to rejoice at the news. These likely won’t be the only films on this subject matter to emerge in the coming weeks and years based on the new developments.
