Johnny Depp Developing ‘The Night Stalker’ Remake & Paul Revere Project

Hey there Johnny Depp fans, Im Tatiana Carrier with Clevver Movies and Ive got the latest on everyones favoritre pirate! Weve just learned via Deadline that Depp is lining up his next two projects. Along with his film company, Depp has purchased 2 projects. The first project being “The Night Stalker” which will be a remake of the 1970s tv movie where Depp will pay a Chicago based newspaper reporter. His character, named Cal Kolchak, will investigate super natural crimes throughout the flick. Sounds pretty cool! The Second project will be a re-telling of the story of Paul Revere. Word from Deadline is that Johnny Depp will play Paul Revere while Lee and Janet Batchler, writers of Batman Forever, are working on the script. We recently reported that Depp was in talks to do ANOTHER installment of Pirates, but still no confirmation on that. Depp’s next film will be The Rum Diary based on the book by Hunter S. Thompson. He will then become Tonto in The Lone Ranger alongside The Social Network’s Armie Hammer. Hey there I’m Chelsea Cannell here with an exciting update on 21 Jump Street that involves Johnny Depp! Depp starred in the hit fox TV series from the 80′s created by the Late Stephen J. Cannell and Patrick Hasburgh and has now decided to make a return to the Street that got him started! The cameo has been in qustion ever since talk of the movie started to heat up, but apparently Comingsoon.net http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=76821#ixzz1KZ78PHAd has confirmed that the Pirates Star will in fact pay a visit. Johnny Whitworth To Play "Blackout" In ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of…

Hey there Movie Fans, I’m Chelsea cannell here will an update on Ghost rider. While doing press for “limitless,” Johnny Whitworth recently revealed that he will be playing “Blackout” in the upcoming Ghost Rider flick: Spirit of Vengeance. Thankfully, He leaked the info to a reporter which answers the villain question we’ve all been asking. He added that Blackout is human for about 70 pages of the script before being turned into Blackout by the devil in order to take on Ghost Rider. His powers of course, revolve around his ability to wipe out any existing light. Hmm, I wouldn’t mind that power?! Anyway, His light manipulation abilities along with increased speed and strength make him quite the match for GR. The film was shot in Turkey and Romania with Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor in the director’s chair. Also, Nicholas cage is back in his role as stunt motorcyclist Johnny blaze in the film that hits theaters on February 17th 2012.
