Im Tatiana carrier with your review round up on the happiest penguins around, Happy Feet 2. . Happy Feet Two returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica in superb 3D. Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is scared to dance. Erik then runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father’s “guts and grit” as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right! . James Rocchi from MSN movies was a fan, he said, “Happy Feet 2 may not be blazing a trail as smoothly and distinctively as the original film did… but you and your kids will find it a pleasant enough journey. . Lisa Swartzbaum from Entertainment weekly agreed! She said, “Director George Miller makes nice, subtle points about interdependence on earth. Meanwhile, the earthmates in Happy Feet Two continue to dance, sing, and, yes, charm.” . But one critic that was not on team happy feet was top critic roger ebert…he simply said, “For me, “Happy Feet Two” is pretty thin soup.” . So there ya have it! Hey guys, thaks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana carrier and Ive got the deets on an interview one of my favorite men in the biz had to say, about, well, the biz! According to our friends at the Hollywood reporter, Depp has his opinions on the film industry and he isn’t afraid to say whats on his mind! IN a recent interview Depp shared that he felt he makes quote, STUPID MONEY for the pirates movies, but says that at this point, he does it all for his kids and its “ridiculous” how much money he makes. He went on to say that he feels he is OVER PAID to star in the pirates of the caribean movies, where he repotedly has earned more than 300 million to date. Ah the problems of being talented, rich and ridiculously good looking. In other news, Depp did share that he’s very excited about his next project, The Rum Diary, which hits theaters on Oct. 28. So make sure you check out the DESERVINGLY over paid actor at the end of this month…now if youll excuse me, I have to go do an interview about all this stupid money im making over here…lifes rough.

Toy Story has announced at D23 that they will be showing their short entitled, Small Fry, before the muppets in theatres! So whats Small Fry all about? Well in this short, Bonnie, the little girl who now owns all the toys leaves buzz lightyear at a fast food restaurant, by accidentally taking the toy from her kids meal who also happens to be a version of buzz. Now buzz is on a mission to find his way back home with the help of other lost kids meal toys…something cool to add, the leader of the lost toys is a mermaid warrior voiced by Jane Lynch! At d23 this past weekend, pixar announced that this new toy story short would be attached to the new muppet flick out on novemeber 23rd of this year! Whats up guys guys, Im Tatiana Carrier and Ive got the results from the weekend box office! Well, we guessed correctly, the Help came remained in the top position this weekend , literally leaving new commers Spy Kids 4D, Conan the Barbarian AND fright Night all in the dust. The Help brought in 20.5 million over the weekend, and coming in right behind Tate Taylors book adaptation was The Rise of the planent of the apes with 16.3 million for the weekend. Of the newcomers Spy Kids came in the top position earning 12 million…which is still pretty soft for an opening weekend and based off of early prediciatoions was a disappointment in the box office. Conan the Barbarian came in 4th place with 10.5 million for the weekend just a tad bit ahead of Fright Night who took in 8.3 for the weekend. One day, the last of the new comers did pretty poorly as well, coming in 9th for the entire weekend with a very low 5.1 million. So in a nutshell, it wasn’t the strongest open for new movies this weekend but I think we all predicted that, so no big surprises here! Did you guys see any of these flicks? Whats up guys, Im Tatiana carrier and ive got the latest on spy kids: all the time in the world: 4d! We recently reported that director Robert Rodriquez was working on a 4th installment of spy kids and that this latest flick from the franchise would be in 4D! For those of you who don’t know what 4 d means, its using thedimension of our senses. For examples, there will be scratch and sniff scent cards for the audience taking the flick beyond a 3d experience! When Rodriguez was asked, why go 4d, he said, “I couldn’t just go back and do 3D like everybody else is now. I had to bring something extra,”…and apparently the STARS agree! Joel Mcale said, “I think it shows you Robert’s childlike imagination that it makes the movie that much more of an event and something fun to do for the kids and there are going to be some smelly smells… My character smells like lavender, every time I walk on its just lavender” Jessica Alba agreed, she said, — “”[Kids] love interacting and being a part of the experience. You know they really feel like they are in the movie. And then the 3D and the 4D — it’s awesome!” Just to give you a little hint as to what types of smells movie goers will be enjoying during the flick…rodriquez did hint at a spy babies diapers…sounds…gross, but im in!
