Hey everyone, thanks for checking back with clevver movies, Im Tatiana Carrier and Ive got the Teen Choice Awards MOVIE results! It seems like this past month has been all about Harry and this was a fact even at the teen choice awards! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows snagged SEVEN teen choice awards this past weekend! Beating Twilight, HP won the coveted SCI FI FANTASY award, Emma Watson won for best leading actress, and Tom Felton scored choice movie villain! Ofcourse Harry also took home an award…he and Emma took home the award for Choice movie lip lock!!! Twilight star ROb Pattinson took home the surfboard for choice movie actor for his role in water for elephants and also snagged an award for choice vampire. But his friend Taylor Lautner took home the trophy for choice movie actor in a sci fi fantasy as his role as Jacob black in eclipse! The other movie that made a SPLASH at the teen choice awards was the tourise. Co stars Angelina Jolie and Johnny depp both took home surf boards for choice movoe actor and actress. Hey everyone, thanks for checking back with clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana Carrier and Ive got another BOX OFFICE BATTLE FOR YA! Its safe to say that there are TONS of awesome movies with the July 29th release date that I cant WAIT to see, but the question remains, who will DOMINATE the box office this weekend. The three flicks Im talking about are Cowboys and Aliens, Crazy Stupid Love and The Smurfs. If your into big budget action/adventures, Cowboys and Aliens will definitely be your top choice of the weekend. Jon Favreau’s flick starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, is expected to win the weekend with an opening north of $40 million which is pretty awesome considering the Western/sci-fi hybrid cost $163 million to make. On the other side of the board, if you are like me and just LOVE a good romantic comedy, Crazy Stupid Love is the one for you! The flick stars Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Julianne Moore and expects to take in about 20 million opening weekend…with its audience expected to be a majority of females. And lastly, The Smurfs in 3D is the perfect flick to take the entire family to go see. While the early reviews on the flick were weak, it’s a movie with the kids demographic in mind, and we must remember, kids pretty much rule the world when it comes to ANY type of sale. The flick stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays and Hank Azaria and the voice cast is led by Jonathan Winters, Kate Perry and Anton Yelchin. It will be exciting to see the final numbers on Monday, but until then, enjoy your weekend at the movies, because this weekend, there truly is something for everyone! Hey everyone, thanks for checking back with clevver movies, im Tatiana carrier and I have the scoop on a potential PEE WEE HERMAN and BIEBER COLLABORATION!!! Turns out Herman, who has been working on a new film alongside producer Judd Apatow, has written the VMA nominee in as one of the celebrity cameos. Just ONE SMALL problem… Bieber doesn’t know yet. “I can’t really tell what the cameo is, but he makes an appearance toward the end of the film,” Herman told MTV News at San Diego Comic-Con. “He doesn’t know about it yet, so if you’re watching this, Justin!” Interesting! We think the Beiblers would LOVE This and it would be pretty hilarious…I mean, Pee wee and the beibs sharing the big screen?! I SAY YES PLEASE! The script for the currently unnamed comedy is being looked at by Universal Studios at the moment, and Herman is hoping to start filming in the next couple months…and if all goes pee wees way, the biebs will be right there along side him! We recently reported on JK Rowlings “pottermore” and now, she has released a video announcing the magical website experience! Rowling has been hesitant to put her books in digital format in the past, so this is the first time ever that Potter Ebooks will be available. She explained Pottermore as an interactive platform for fans to rediscover the classic Potter stories and a place that will provide additional information on the stories, with potential alternative endings! Very exciting! Looks like we can officially kiss our PPD …post potter depression GOODBYE because October will bring a whole new world of potter to our fingertips! According to The Hollywood Reporter, while fans are over all excited about Pottermore, some were confused by the concept. Potterific tweeted, “Huh. Hey There Movie Fans I’m Chelsea Cannell here with a Clevver movies story on Arnold Schwarzennegger’s upcoming venture into the comic world thanks to Entertainment Weekly. Looks like the big man will be getting his own comic about a guy who leaves office and decides to fight crime instead of budgets, and saves people instead of jobs. The cartoon superhero is currently being developed by the man behind spider-man Mr. Stan Lee. The plan is to use Arnold’s life as a blueprint, including his wife, his kids, and even his house only in the comic he’ll have a control center in the basement with a path for boats and submarines to come and go from the ocean. You know superhero stuff like that. He’ll be fighting the G.I.R.L.I.E Men otherwise known as the Gangsters Imposters Racketeers liars and Ir-redeemable Ex-cons or Girlie men. Arnie loves the idea and can’t wait to see this thing come to life- but with all the talk about his return to film, do you think this little venture could eventually lead to a silver screen adaptation?
