Hey guys, Im Tatiana carrier with clevver movies and Ive got the latest on Taylor Lautners, Adbuction! With the official release of Lionsgate’s upcoming thriller Abduction still one week away, the studio has high hopes for their latest leading man, Taylor Lautner. According to the Hollywood reporter, lionsgates president of motion picture, Joe Drake thinks this could be a mega franchise, much like the bourne franchise….he said, There’s lots of places we could take this story,” Drake also went on to make the grand statement that quote, “When you watch Taylor, he’s like a young Tom Cruise,”. For those of you who don’t know, Abduction is a thriller centered on a young man who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website. The film has even drawn some comparisions to the bourne franchise, which the pres was pleased to hear! He commented on the compliment by saying, “we think it’s our Bourne…. The story is set up where there’s a great character created in this, and so — with success — there’s lots of places we could take this story Backing him up in this statement was was director John Singleton who said, “I think we’re gonna get at least 2 or 3 movies out of this,” Well with all this confidence flowing, these guys are setting expectations way high…I guess we will all just have to wait and see when the film is released on sept 23rd Do you guys think abduction had BOURNE potential?
