All you know what broke loose last week when word spread that Ed Norton wouldn’t be returning to play the Incredible Hulk in Marvel Comics upcoming superhero flick “The Avengers.” With Norton out, and a pretty nasty he said she said under way between the actor and Marvel execs. Hollywood was left to wonder WHO would fill the big green shoes! Well today news broke that Mark Ruffalo is in Late Negotiations with marvel to take over the role. From a casting perspective, many feel Ruffalo is a left field selection and definitely not an obvious choice for the role but indeed an interesting one! The actor is currently enjoying rave reviews for his work in Focus Features’ The Kids Are All Right” which opened last weekend. But casting rumors are just casting rumors until they are substantiated. However, Several sources HAVE confirmed to sites like E! and Deadline, that there IS interest in the Ruffalo for the role, but that negotiations have yet to take place between the studio and the 42 year old actor.
