Warrior is about The youngest son played by tom Hardy of an alcoholic former boxer played nick Nolte who returns home, where he’s trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament — a path that puts the fighter on a collision corner with his older brother played by joel Edgerton. SO heres what the ciritcs had to say: Glenn Kinney from MSN movies said, “A double-barreled “Rocky” for the mixed martial arts generations, the practically epic fight film “Warrior” is one of the most exhilarating surprises of this summer movie season.” Katy Rich from Cinema blend was also a fan of the fight flick, she said, “At two and a half hours, Warrior feels an hour shorter than that, clipping along through conflict both physical and mental, hewing to the sports movie formula that’s familiar but uniquely affecting.” And lastly, owen glieberman from entertainment weekly thought this was a great film for both edgetron and hardy to star in…he said, “Warrior is a showcase for its up-and-coming stars. Edgerton, from last year’s Animal Kingdom, and Hardy, who stole scenes as the identity forger in Inception, both have a tense, tough presence, though in a slightly colorless way.
