Tatiana Carrier here and its FRIDAY which means one thing here in movie land….lots of decisions to make as to what movie will be getting your hard earned bucks at the box office! To help you make that decision, ive got your box office preview! After two weeks atop the box office, Puss in Boots will need to draw his sword and fend the Immortals if he wants to stay in the top spot for a third weekend in a row…Im thinking PUSS has a great shot. As you guys know, the Shrek spin-off has been box office champ for two weeks running, and it may just pull off a third weekend in first place with a potential 26 million for a total of well past 100 million since it opened. If you haven’t yet seen Puss in action, I think now is the time…hes stayed strong in this countdown and I think that’s all the convining you need…plus, who can resist an accent rocking, sword wielding feline? Im thinking Immortals, the opener this weekend will be in a tight race with puss but may fall SLIGHTLY short with about 24 million for the weekend. Tarsem singhs Immortails which stars future Man of Steel Henry Cavill as Theseus, is hoping to draw a solid male crowd this weekend. Immortals follows the story of Theseus who is a mortal man chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against the ruthless King Hyperion. He also happens to be on a rampage across Greece to obtain a weapon that can destroy humanity. The flick stars henry cavill, mickey rourke and john hurt. Coming in third will most likely be Jack and Jill with 22 million. Although the movie didn’t go over well with the critics, we are thinking loyal sandler fans will make the trip to the theatres to see the comedian play both jack and jill. While the flick isn’t expecting any academy award noms, the goofy story line, and sandler esque jokes could play very well to families over the next few weeks as we head into the holidays. Tower Heist which made its silver screen debut last weekend should come in at 4th place with about 13.5 million dollars. After a disappointing $24.1 million opening, the Ben Stiller/Eddie Murphy comedy, which audiences gave a”B” CinemaScore, may fall by a somewhat steep at 45 percent because of sandlers Jack and Jill. The other opener of the weekend, J Edgar starring Leonardo Dicaprio is expected to pull in about 13 million just a smidge after tower heist. This film is the perfect choice for all you film buffs out there…with the a list acting chops of Leo and Clint Eastwood at the helm, this flick is sure to be worth your movie bucks. So what will your movie ticket say on it this weekend? Let us know what you plan on watching by commenting below and make sure you subscribe to our channel so that you can stay in the movie know! Top 10 Summer Movies To See: Harry Potter, Captain America, Transformers…

http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! We’ve got a list of the top summer flicks hitting the box office- stay tuned to see what’s coming out! Hey there, Chelsea Cannell here with an update on what films you should gear up to go see this summer! With so many movies coming out, we thought we’d give you the top 10 flicks we think you should see this summer movie season. Starting with the Flicks opening in May. Thor Staring Chris hemsworth will likely be a huge summer hit after taking in an large international cumulative gross of $3 million dollars. With Kenneth branagh directing hemsworth and a legion of other stars including Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins this will likely be a big summer opener when it hits theaters on May 6th. Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides sets sail into theaters on May 20th and will probably be just as successful as the franchise flicks before it- Captain Sparrow, Barbosa, and Teaque return alongside Blackbeard, and his daughter Angelica who will all set their sights on finding the fountain of youth! The Hangover 2 will likely be a huge hit when it debuts on May 26th- the sequel to the wildly successful first installment takes us back on a ridiculous ride with our favorite hooligans as they try and find their way out of Bangkok alive. On July 1st it’s all about Transformers Dark of the Moon. The Machines are back as is the majority of the original cast minus Megan fox who was replaced by the beautiful Rosie- Huntington Whitely in the film that should be high powered transforming fun at the box office. Then Harry Potter and the crew will reunite to say farewell to the franchise that made them famous when Deathly Hallows Part 2 hits theaters on July 15th. See what happens when Harry squares off against the evil Lord Voldemort in this next and final installment. Captain America the First Avenger will hit theaters on July 22nd, continuing the summer of the superhero with Chris Evans portrayal of Steve Rodgers in the highly anticipated flick from Marvel Movies. Then Cowboys and Aliens crashes into the box office on July 29th hoping to cash in on its hybrid action flick, blending the wild west with the otherworldly in this flick staring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde. Coming out on the same day, Steve Carell may have left the office but he’s back on the big screen with Crazy Stupid Love. The flick is about a man who is living the life until his wife cheats and asks for a divorce. Staring Carell and Ryan Gosling, this film will likely appease both male and female audiences. Rise of the Planet of the Apes hits theaters on August 5th with James Franco, Andy Serkis, Frieda Pinto, Rupert Wyatt and John Lithgow. And Finally the Vampire Madness continues on August 19th with Fright night. The Meta Horror Flick stars Anton Yelchin in the story about a boy who must defend his neighborhood against the blood thirsty villains using his knowledge of Horror movies as his main weapon. ‘Hop’ Tops & ‘Arthur’ Flops At Weekend Box Office

http://bit.ly/clevvermovies – Click to Subscribe! hWe’ve got your Weekend Box Office Recap right here on Clevver Movies! Hey there Movie Goers, I’m Chelsea Cannell here with a Box office update from the weekend. Coming in at #1 It was another great weekend for Universal’s Hop which won the Box Office Hunt again gathering up $21.7 million dollars this weekend ending it’s two weekend run with $68.2 Mill in the bank. Definitely didn’t see the success of this Easter flick coming, and neither did Arthur or Your Highness which both premiered this weekend under studio expectations. Arthur, starring Russell Brand, only managed to bring in $12.2 million, which was well below the $40 mill is cost to make and put it in 3rd place at the box office. Brand seemed to do much better voicing E. B in Hop then he did trying to top Dudley Moore’s loveable performance in Arthur’s original debut from 1981. Coming in where arthur should have been was Hanna at #2 with $12.3 Mill. Soul Surfer came in at #4. The film stars Anna Sophia Robb as Bethany Hamilton the 13 year old surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack but went on to defy the odds and have a professional surfing career. The film also defied the box office taking home $11.1 Million on a film that took just $15mill to make. And in last place, Universal’s Your Highness Also lacked the royal entrance the studio was hoping for, bringing in only $9.5 Million dollars on the film that took $50 Mill to make. Estimates had the film opening around $12 Million but it failed to even hit 10. Overall Moral of the story, it pays to be a bunny- and yet again I was wrong! If you guys went to the box office this weekend, tell us what you saw and what you thought down below, then hit subscribe for more updates in the future. Thanks for tuning in, we’ve got more stories coming shortly!
