Hey everyone, thanks for checking back with clevver movies im tatiana carrier with the latest on Kristen Stewart… . K stew may be gearing up for the first part of the twilight finale to hit the big screen this week, but studio execs are busy trying to lock down the actress for other roles, not involving vampires! . According to the Hollywood reporter, Stewart’s camp is mulling an offer from Warner Bros. for the in-demand actress to join the cast of the adaptation of classic manga and anime in the role of Ky Reed in Akira. . The movie is set in a place called New Manhattan and follows two brothers, one the leader of a motorcyle gang, the other his younger brother, a young man with telekinetic abilities who becomes a dangerous weapon. . As for other leads, Tron: Legacy star Garrett Hedlund is in negotiations to play Kaneda, the gang leader, who teams up with Ky, a woman who is part of an underground movement to expose the government for turning orphans into living weapons. She may also possess some abilities herself. Also a fun fact, if Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund end up starring in the movie, this will reunite them as they will be seen together in next year’s ‘On the Road’ based on the Jack Kerouac novel . Despite some reports saying Stewart is in advanced negotiations, sources say only an offer has been made at this stage, though the two sides will certainly engage one another and give dealmaking a go. . Now If a deal does materialize, this would be the third franchise for the actress…twilight being one, snow white and the huntsman being the most recent, and now if all goes well, Akira. . So would you guys like to see K stew as Akira? Let us knowby commenting below and be sure to stay right here on clevver movies for all the latest movie news!

Made In Dagenham Trailer Official (HD)
http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! Made In Dagenham hits theaters on November 19th, 2010. Cast: Sally Hawkins, Rosamund Pike, Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson, Richard Schiff, Jaime Winstone, Andrea Riseborough, Daniel Mays, Rupert Graves Set against the backdrop of the 1960s, Made in Dagenham is based on a true story about a group of spirited women who joined forces, took a stand for what was right, and in doing so, found their own inner strength. Although far from the Swinging Sixties of Carnaby Street, life for the women of Dagenham, England is tinged with the sounds and sights of the optimistic era, heard on their radios and seen on their TV sets. Rita O’Grady (Sally Hawkins) reflects that upbeat era, along with her friends and co-workers at the city’s Ford Motor Factory – Sandra (Jamie Winstone), Eileen (Nicola Duffett), Brenda (Andrea Riseborough), Monica (Lorraine Stanley) and Connie (Geraldine James) – who laugh in the face of their poor conditions. Lisa (Rosamund Pike) is a fiercely intelligent Cambridge-educated woman who feels a bit trapped, tending to the home with a husband that suggests she keep her opinions to herself. She may not live in the same world as the other women, but she shares their views. No one thought the revolution would come to Dagenham, until one day, it did. Rita, who primarily sees herself as a wife and mother, is coerced into attending a meeting with shop steward Connie, sympathetic union representative Albert (Bob Hoskins) and Peter Hopkins (Rupert Graves), Ford’s Head of Industrial Relations. What she expects to be simply a day out of work, complete with a free lunch, turns into much more when she and her colleagues become outraged by the lack of respect shown in the meeting to the women employees. With humor, common sense and courage Rita and the other women take on their bosses, an increasingly belligerent local community, and finally the government, as their intelligence and unpredictability proves to be a match for any of their male opponents. Daring to stand up and push boundaries, the women changed a system that no one wanted to admit was broken. Made In Dagenham trailer courtesy Sony Pictures Classics.

Comic Con: Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg – The Other Guys Panel
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were at Comic Con to talk about their new comedy The Other Guys. NYPD Detectives Christopher Danson and P.K. Highsmith (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson) are the baddest and most beloved cops in New York City. They don’t get tattoos — other men get tattoos of them. Two desks over and one back, sit Detectives Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg). You’ve seen them in the background of photos of Danson and Highsmith, out of focus and eyes closed. They’re not heroes — they’re “the Other Guys.” But every cop has his or her day and soon Gamble and Hoitz stumble into a seemingly innocuous case no other detective wants to touch that could turn into New York City’s biggest crime. It’s the opportunity of their lives, but do these guys have the right stuff? Columbia Pictures’ ensemble action comedy The Other Guys stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Ray Stevenson, with Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson.
