There has been some excitement building that Colin Farrell was cast to play Ozzy Osbourne in an upcoming biopic about the rockers life. But before anyone could really get their hopes up a publicist for the Irish Actor has already squashed the rumors! Here’s how the story developed in the first place. Ozzy’s wife and Manager Sharon, started the casting buzz when she spoke out about her desire to cast Johnny depp as the lead in a film chronicling her husband’s Life. But the story didn’t stop there. Adding fuel to the fire, the former Black Sabbath frontman later admitted he would prefer an unknown actor from his native Birminghan to take on the role. Later online reports surfaced that Colin Farrell had agreed to play the Prince of Darkness but unfortunately just as quickly as the news broke, it was put to rest with Farrell’s spokesperson denying all speculation. So it looks like Ozzy and the rest of us will just have to wait till we see his life flash before us on the big screen. So who do you think should play osbourne?
