Well it’s got a release date now it’s just time to settle the Cast and Director — hear the official theatrical release for Expendables 2 right here on Clevver! Hi guys I’m Chelsea Cannell here with a Clevver Movies update on the Expendables 2. The studio has revealed that the movie will hit theaters on August 17th 2012 just 2 years after the original blew up the box office. Hopefully all the actors will return but for now it looks like Jason Statham, Jet Li, Randy Couture, and terry crews are the only ones confirmed, while Bruce Willis and Arnold are expected to get more screen time instead of small cameos. Stallone was in the director’s chair the first time around but this time he’ll be passing the torch although we don’t yet know who will take over the camera. So it’s on its way but of course there is still so much to be done before you’re in theaters with popcorn enjoying another action star reunion.
