The end of an era is shortly upon us- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II is almost out- and it’s not just the fans who are mourning the end. Alan Rickman, who perfectly plays the mysterious Severus Snape, just published a touching farewell in Empire Magazine. About his three young castmates- Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint- quote ” Three children have become adults… a lifetime seems to have passed in minutes.” And in regards to Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling, Rickman praises “A phone call with Jo Rowling persuaded me that there was more to Snape than an unchanging costume… It is an ancient need to be told stories, but the story needs a great storyteller.
