New ‘Blade Runner’ Movie To Be Sequel Sans Harrison Ford

Tatiana carrier here with the details on Blade Runner! AS you guys already know, Film director Ridley Scott plans to make a follow-up to his groundbreaking 1982 classic, “Blade Runner” and in an interview with Speakeasy, Scott dished on all the details behind the sequel! Scott said he is on board to direct a “Blade Runner” follow-up and has been interviewing writers who can help him with the screenplay. He also disclosed that Balde runner fans may not have to wait long for the new movie. He said, “I think I’m close to finding a writer that might be able to help me deliver…we’re quite a long way in, actually.” For those of you not familiar, the original film was inspired by sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick’s novel, “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” and told the grim story of Rick Deckard, a “blade runner” who hunts down “replicants” — androids who long to live free lives. S Scott says the new “Blade Runner” project is moving ahead “not with the past cast, of course.” So if your wondering…there will be no Deckard…meaning…NO harrison ford! Top 5 Tuesday: Non-Human Killing Machines

Whats up guys, Im tatiana carrier and its Tuesday which means ONE THING OnLY!!!! Its top five Tuesday time! In honor of shark night 3d which releases this week, , I thought we would do the top 5 non-human killing machines! Coming in 5th place is Terminator franchise…the Arnold really rocked this robot role and did some serious damage with anything and anyone who got in his way. The first terminator released in 1984 and was directed by James Cameron. 4th place goes to Piranha…those fish were relentless and pretty much ruined my summer of 2010. The movie starred jerry oconnel and was about a group of prehistoric fish that come back and take over the lake, having no mercy on the water seeking vacationers. On the topic of WATER the classic jaws franchsie takes the third place position. Jaws made his way to the theatres in 1975 and was directed by steven speilberg…the flicks infamous THE SHARK IS COMING anthem is one that everyone recogrnizes whether or not the film is before your time! In 2nd place is Alien…that besides clowns, nothing is scarier than an alien…another 70′s classic directed by Ridley scott and starred Sigourney weaver. If you haven’t seen the alien franchise flicks, do yourself a favor and see one immediately. In first place is…Childs Play…Lets be real, a serial killing ginger doll named chucky is enough to scare anyone. But once you see ANY of the childs play flicks, youll know why they EASILY come in at number one…and if you cant get enough of chuckie, he gets a wifie in the 4th installment, and homegirl is just as creepy. Hey everyone thanks for checking back with clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier and ive got your weekly wrap up! The top stories of the week incase you may have missed us! This week we had a lot of awesome first looks including scenes from Twilight Breaking Dawn, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and ofcourse, everyones favorite, the avengers! We also learned that Anne Hathaway is not only a phenomenal actress, but the girl CAN FLOW! She rapped on Conan about all the dark knight rises criticism and it was amazing… We also learned that Ridely Scott will Direct ‘Blade Runner’ Movie and we discussed whether it would be a prequel, sequel or reboot! We also chose 3 dvds of the week, something borrowed, priest and Hoodwinked Too: Hood Vs Evil if you missed that story, make sure you check it out so you can decide which of those to buy rent or download! Ridley Scott Teases ‘Prometheus’ Details

Ridley Scott teases Prometheus, coming up on CLevver Movies! WHats up guys, Im Tatiana Diana and Ive got the latest on Prometheus! Director Ridley Scott made a pit stop at CineEurope earlier this week and gave some of the attendees some scoop on his highly anticipated 3d, sci-fi film, Prometheus. Also in attendance were stars of the movie, Michael Fassbender and Noo-mee Ra-paas who came straight from the set to join Scott in discussing the flick. Scott acknowledged that Prometheus, is NOT a direct prequel to Alien, it still occupies the same general universe. He says the picture was inspired by a desire to explore the mystery of the “space jockey” seen in the firstAlien movie but never explained….Scott also confirmed that the film’s title is the name of a space ship sent from earth by an all-powerful corporation of the kind familiar to fans of the Alien franchise. Sounds pretty incredible! Will you be checking out Prometheus when it hits the big screen? Charlize Theron In Talks To Join "Prometheus"

Hey there fellow Movie fans, I’m Chelsea cannell, coming to your from our clevver movies headquarters here in Hollywood! There has been a lot speculation surrounding Ridley Scott’s fox project “Prometheus” and now adding Fuel to the already burning Fire, we are hearing that Charlize Theron is just the latest star to possibly be joining the project! Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace are already signed on with Scott set to produce and direct the screenplay created by David Lindelof and Jon Spaihts. So far, the casting seems amazing — what is unknown however is how much Alien’s DNA the project will actually have — as you know it was set to be a prequel before the name change suggested it may be going in a different direction. Either Way, it seems Charlize would definitely beef up the already building star power of the vehicle. How do you guys think she fits in? And how are you feeling about how the film is shaping up? Michael Fassbender To Play Android In Prometheus?

http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies – Follow Us! Michael Fassbender is in talks to play David in Fox’s Prometheus- the details on that story and a release date change in seconds! Thanks for Tuning in to Clevver Movies, I’m Chelsea Cannell coming to you from our Movie Headquarters here in Hollywood. Fox apparently thinks that Ridley Scott’s Prometheus is more of a big summer opener than a late spring release and has just moved the films date back from March 9th to June 8th. Noomi Ra-pass has already been cast, and word is Michael Fassbender wants to get in on the action and is apparently in talks to play David. Rumors are circulating that the character will be an android, ala “Ash” or “Bishop” from the “Alien” films. Additionally, we are also hearing that Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron are also circling the project. As you know, Promethus was first rumored to be an alien’s prequel before fox re-directed and changed the name, but the film is still said to have strands of alien’s DNA. ‘Robin Hood’ Featurette

Ridley Scott helms a script by Sleeper Cell scribes Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris as they tackle this revisionist take on the Robin Hood legend, which finds the noble Sheriff of Nottingham (Russell Crowe) attempting to deal with the exploits of a less than virtuous Robin Hood while gradually being drawn into a heated love triangle involving the legendary thief and the beautiful Maid Marion.

Robin Hood (2010) Super Bowl Spot #2 HD

Robin Hood is an upcoming epic film based on the Robin Hood legend, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe. It is due for release on May 14, 2010. The film began development in 2007 when Universal acquired a script entitled Nottingham, depicting a heroic Sheriff of Nottingham to be played by Crowe. Scott’s dissatisfaction with the script led him to delay filming, and during 2008 it was rewritten into a story about Robin Hood becoming an outlaw, with the position of being Sheriff as part of the story. Scott dropped the latter notion and Nottingham was retitled to reflect the more traditional angle.
