Clash of Titans 3 in the works! Hey guys, Tatiana carrier here with clevver movies and ive got the latest on Clash of the Titans! According to our pals at the Hollywood reporter, Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson have been enlisted to write the story for a third installment in the series based on the adventures of Perseus. The studio, which is in post-production with Legendary Pictures on Clash of the Titans sequel Wrath of the Titans, is developing the next installment of the tales inspired by the Greek myths, even though Wrath doesn’t open until March 30, 2012. We aren’t shocked that a third is on its way because Titans, directed by Louis Leterrier, grossed $163 million domestically and a whopping $330 million overseas. Clash of the Titans 2, Wrath will release next march and reunites not only Worthington but Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Danny Huston as Greek gods, and throws in actors Edgar Ramirez, Rosamund Pike and Bill Nighy among others. Happy Friday everyone! Thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Your number one source for all things movies! With the weekend upon us, and lots of great movies to go see, we want to give you a box office preview to help you decide what flick will be getting your hard earned bucks in the theatres this weekend! Expected to come in first place throughout the weekend is Paranormal Activity 3 with a potential $41 million. The first Paranormal Activity earned $107.9 million against a $15,000 budget in 2009, while Paranormal Activity 2 (which was not as well received) grossed $84.8 million against a still-tiny $3 million budget in 2010. HOWEVER, we think that based off of the intense trailer, lots of scary movie fans will check out the third installment this weekend. Coming in second place is expected to be The Three Musketeers with $13 million. Three Musketeers, costing $90 million to make and produced by Germany’s Constantin Films, is expected to open in the low double digits at the domestic box office, and is tracking best among older males. The flick stars Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen and Ray Stevenson and as you guys know wasn’t received that well by the critics, so I guess we will have to just wait and see after the weekend! Coming in 3rd place should be Real Steel with $10.5 million who has been steady in the top three since it opened Oct 7th. The flick stars Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly and Dakota Goyo. In its second weekend open, Footloose is expected to pull in 8 million, placing the dance movie in 4th place. Footloose the remake is about a City kid Ren MacCormack who moves to a small town where rock ‘n’ roll and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace. And finally in 5th place will most likely be JOhhny English Reborn with 6 million dollars. In the comedy, Johnny English goes up against international assassins hunting down the Chinese premier. The flick stars Rowan Atkinson, Rosamund Pike and Dominic West. Rosamund Pike Joining "Clash of the Titans 2" Cast

Hey Hey Hey, I’m Chelsea Cannell, thanks for tuning in to Clevver Movies! Rosamund Pike is working her way up the Hollywood Latter — we told you recently that she is being considered to play Superman’s Leading Lady….. AND now we’re hearing she may be signing on to play Andromeda in “Clash of the Titans 2.” The word is that Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures are close to a deal that would have Pike taking over for Alexa Davalos who was unavailable for the second installment. She’s been on Hollywood’s radar since her 2002 appearance in James Bond, but then she took a turn towards the indie market where she’s seemingly had a lot of success. If Pike lands the Titans Gig, She probably won’t be avail for Superman….. But she will get the chance to star alongside Sam Worthington in the sequel which will be directed by Jonathan Leibsman. So which film would you rather see her in — Superman or Clash of the Titans 2? Superman Close To Finding Leading Lady…And It’s Not Lois Lane!

Hey Everyone I’m Chelsea Cannell coming to you from our clevver Movies headquarters here in Hollywood. The has been a lot of speculation about the Newest Superman movie — especially about whether or not Lois Lane would be making an appearance. While we WERE hearing rumors about Olivia Wilde or Rachel Mcadams getting the gig, now it appears the studio is looking to cast a lesser known actress for the role. And THAT role IS apparently NOT Lois Lane. It now appears this superman story may take place pre-lois, somewhere between high school in Smallville and working at the Daily Planet. So If Lois Lane is out — could Lana Lang be in? Or will it be Lori Lemaris, superman’s college crush. The Only issue with that of course is, Lori is a mermaid, which could be a bit too campy for the franchise re-boot. Director Zack Snyder is said to have narrowed down his list for clark Kent’s leading Lady : to Alice Eve, Diane Kruger and Rosamund Pike. So Who do you think the female lead will be — Lana Lang or Lori Lemaris? “So Who do you think the female lead will be — Lana Lang? Lori Lemaris? Or maybe a non-canon character like Christopher Nolan did in BATMAN BEGINS & THE DARK KNIGHT with “Rachel Dawes”? After Nolan is producing the film so anything is possible. For the Ladies, it’ll be another knock-down dragout after a year full of stellar performances. Although far from the Swinging Sixties of Carnaby Street, life for the women of Dagenham, England is tinged with the sounds and sights of the optimistic era, heard on their radios and seen on their TV sets. Rita O’Grady (Sally Hawkins) reflects that upbeat era, along with her friends and co-workers at the city’s Ford Motor Factory – Sandra (Jamie Winstone), Eileen (Nicola Duffett), Brenda (Andrea Riseborough), Monica (Lorraine Stanley) and Connie (Geraldine James) – who laugh in the face of their poor conditions. Lisa (Rosamund Pike) is a fiercely intelligent Cambridge-educated woman who feels a bit trapped, tending to the home with a husband that suggests she keep her opinions to herself. She may not live in the same world as the other women, but she shares their views. No one thought the revolution would come to Dagenham, until one day, it did. Rita, who primarily sees herself as a wife and mother, is coerced into attending a meeting with shop steward Connie, sympathetic union representative Albert (Bob Hoskins) and Peter Hopkins (Rupert Graves), Ford’s Head of Industrial Relations. What she expects to be simply a day out of work, complete with a free lunch, turns into much more when she and her colleagues become outraged by the lack of respect shown in the meeting to the women employees. With humor, common sense and courage Rita and the other women take on their bosses, an increasingly belligerent local community, and finally the government, as their intelligence and unpredictability proves to be a match for any of their male opponents. Michael Fassbender Chooses X-Men: First Class Over Spider-Man

I’m Amanda Janner with the latest casting announcement for X-Men: First Class. Last week, we told you Michael Fassbender was in negotiations with Fox for the role of Magneto in X-Men: First Class. It’s now confirmed that the actor will join the cast in the latest X-Men flick. To accept the offer, Fassbender had to turn down the role of an unnamed villain in Marc Webb’s Spider-Man reboot. Also starring in X-Men will be James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier, Benjamin Walker in the dual-role as Dr. Hank McCoy and Beast, and Rosamund Pike as Emma Frost. Sources say Amber Heard is set to star as Mystique, so we’ll keep you updated on whether or not the actress will follow in the of footsteps of Robecca Romijn in X-Men: First Class.
