Hey Everyone I’m Chelsea Cannell, thanks for tuning in to clevver movies! For months we’ve been hearing casting rumors about “Rock of Ages” — the film adaptation of the 80′s musical about a small town girl who falls in love with a big city rockstar! We’ve heard Russell brand’s name attached to play Lonnie, and then Alec Baldwin rumors started cropping up but we can now confirm that TOM CRUISE HAS signed ON and will be taking on the role of Stacee Jaxx. Jaxx is the rock star in question and the role will require cruise to sing Bon Jovi’s “wanted dead or alive!” The film already has it’s director Adam Shankman on board and is supposedly gearing up for production to begin in May.
