All the details, up next! Hey Everyone I’m Chelsea Cannell, thanks for tuning in to Clevver Movies! Keifer Sutherland just told Extra that the 24 movie is about 8 months away from starting production. The star of the successful TV SERIES says they’re aiming for next December or January , which if you’re doing the math, is more like 11 or 12 months away. But who’s counting! It seems the biggest holdup is the films script. A few weeks ago we heard that fox had passed on a version written by Billy Ray and was now looking to commission a new scribe to pen the screenplay. There are also reports that Sutherland has been taking to producer/director Tony Scott about ideas for a reformatting of the film. Another script could take a few months and with no director currently attached, it’s safe to say we’ll all have to wait a bit longer.
