The movie is about the three former legendary, but now down on their luck, Musketeers who must unite and defeat a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war. The flick releases this week, so I thought we would give you the scoop on what the critics are saying before you head out to the theatres and see it for yourselves! Unfortunaly, the film only scored a 28% on rotten tomatoes, and the critics weren’t impressed, lets see why! Neil Young from the hollywood reporter said, “3D swashbuckler wields a disappointingly blunt sword.” Leslie Felperin from Variety said, “A very 2011 take on Alexandre Dumas’ classic that feels weirdly dated already.” And lastly, Owen Glieberman from entertainment weekly wasn’t impressed with the acting…he said, “something essential is missing from all these young performers.
