Latino review is also reporting that the film will be a sort of origins story ala batman begins, where we will see a young clark kent, Jor-el and his wife Lara, a Krypton that will mostly likely look like the Coruscant Skyline from Star Wars and that Diane Lane reportedly told E! that the film will cover the entire range of years from superman’s infancy and on. Now of course these all seem to be rumors since latino review is getting them from a source who they won’t name, making the news hard to substantiate but interesting nonetheless. Hey There Movie Fans I’m Chelsea Cannell here with a Clevver movies story on Arnold Schwarzennegger’s upcoming venture into the comic world thanks to Entertainment Weekly. Looks like the big man will be getting his own comic about a guy who leaves office and decides to fight crime instead of budgets, and saves people instead of jobs. The cartoon superhero is currently being developed by the man behind spider-man Mr. Stan Lee. The plan is to use Arnold’s life as a blueprint, including his wife, his kids, and even his house only in the comic he’ll have a control center in the basement with a path for boats and submarines to come and go from the ocean. You know superhero stuff like that. He’ll be fighting the G.I.R.L.I.E Men otherwise known as the Gangsters Imposters Racketeers liars and Ir-redeemable Ex-cons or Girlie men. Arnie loves the idea and can’t wait to see this thing come to life- but with all the talk about his return to film, do you think this little venture could eventually lead to a silver screen adaptation? Hey There I’m Chelsea Cannell here with a DC comics update on Clevver Movies. Warner Bros. Pictures president, Jeff Robinov recently answered a few questions about some of your favorite DC Comics and what plans he has for their film adaptations, re-boots, and the like. First thing on his list, finally making the Justice League! The project was close to going into production a few years back but got halted as a result of the writer’s guild, and tax issues in Australia and mounting concerns about it competing with Nolan’s Batman. Well all that has come and past, and Robinov is ready to get crackin on a script which is supposedly already in the works. Also in the works, screenplays for Flash and Wonder Woman as potential Justice League spin-offs. When asked about a possible conflict with the ‘Wonder Woman’ television pilot for NBC, Robinov explained, “Wonder Woman could be a film as well, the same way that ‘Superman Returns’ came out while ‘Smallville’ was on.”Good plan! As for Batman, the pres said that will have to be a discussion with Chris Nolan and his wife Emma who run Gotham city films — because once the third bat flick hits theaters, he says it’ll be time to start talking about ways to re-invent out favorite caped crusader! That story up next~ Hey Everyone I’m Chelsea Cannell coming to you from our clevver movies headquarters here in Hollywood. Steve Carell’s next project will be starring in “Dogs Of Babel!” the story is about a man who loses his wife and out of a desperation to find out what happens on the day she died he teaches his dog to talk! Carell will star in the picture playing Paul, the dogs owner and teacher. The script is being adapted from a novel and already has Jamie Linden of Dear John and We are Marshall signed on to pen the screenplay. Does this sound like something you guys are interested in seeing?
